SWTOR Alderaan Bonus Series Missions Guide

SWTOR Alderaan Bonus Series Missions Guide

Vulkk by Vulkk|

This guide will show you how to start and successfully complete the Bonus Series Missions on Alderaan, which BioWare made Repeatable and tied to Conquest Objectives with the release of SWTOR Game Update 6.1.1. The stories are different for Empire and Republic, so this guide is split into two segments, of course. Enjoy!

Many of the early planets in SWTOR have additional story-driven Bonus Missions that are unlocked once you complete the main planetary story arc.

These missions usually take between 20 and 40 minutes to complete, based on your pace and gameplay style.

The Alderaan Missions are a bit longer. They are designed for players level 31 to 33 or higher, but the rewards they provide are of no use to high level players.

Alderaan Bonus Series Objective

Game Update 6.1.1, released in April 2020, turned these missions to Daily Repeatable and attached them to the Conquest system as Objectives.

You can complete the main Bonus Series Mission once on one character and it will be locked out for the rest of the week, but you can bring another character through on the next day to get the daily Conquest Objective points.

All other missions described in this guide are available as Dailies. Only the main starter mission is a Weekly.

ALDERAAN BONUS SERIES FOR REPUBLIC PLAYERS

The starter and main mission for the Republic’s Alderaan Bonus Series is called “Securing the Advance“. Go to Organa Castle, Republic Dispatch Center. Talk to Major Brom. When you enter the Castle, take the second entrance to your left on the ground floor.

“Republic Colonel Jase Malcom has asked you to assist House Organa in holding the line against the Empire in the contested valley of King’s Pass. Colonel Malcom received reports of a Killik attack on Organa forces in that area.”

Next, report to Lieutenant Ross at Wardpost Luurdes to the east from the Castle, in King’s Pass

She will ask you to complete the “Observatory” mission for General Linel Organa, who is right next to Ross in the same outpost.

The objective for this mission is to align three antennas in the Ruur Killik Hovewoods area in King’s Pass. The antennas are on metal platforms.

Defeating 35 Killik Forces will complete the bonus objective “Clearing the Air”. Reward is just XP.

The next step is to activate the Intel System. Go back down the hill to the nearby building (guarded by a few enemy NPCs) and click on the Communication Console.

To complete this mission, return to General Linel Organa. If you want the bonus XP from the additional objective, finish defeating the 35 Killik Forces before you go back.

Next, return to Lieutenant Ross to progress the main mission. She will ask you to recover three medpacks from the Ulgo Raiding Camp. They are all over the cave, inside metal containers (Medical Supply Crates).

Ulgo Raiding Camp

After you collect the Medpacks, head to Jeren Organa, located north-west from the cave’s entrance. He is inside a tent in a small camp in the Ulgo Footpaths.

Jeren sends you to speak to Kamen Proy, who will give you the “Shipment of Weapons” mission. Kamen is just outside the camp, to the north-east.

Kamen Proy Shipment of Weapons Mission

To prevent the creation of the Ulgo superweapon, Kamen asks you to recover five pieces from the Ulgo Shipping Facility. Time to head further east in the King’s Pass along the Ulgo Footpaths.

The locations of the items are marked on y our map. This is what each item looks like:

When you collect all parts, bring them to Kamen Proy to complete the mission and stop by Jeren Organa again, who will send you to Captain Vakar up in the north-eastern corner of King’s Pass. He is at the House Trader’s Circle.

He forwards you to Agent Tyuth, who is across the square and will grant you the “A Spy in House Organa” mission.

Now you have to enter the marked villa nearby your current location and confront Eric Organa, who is a traitor.

Defeat Eric, go back to report to Agent Tyuth and complete this mission. Go across the square again to speak to Captain Vakar. He will forward you one last time back to Organa Castle to speak with Major Brom, who gave start to the Alderaan Bonus Series Missions for the Republic. Here you also finish the series and earn your not-so-big reward.

ALDERAAN BONUS SERIES FOR EMPIRE PLAYERS

To start the chain you need to speak to Lord Serjay Thul. He is located on Alderaan, in Thul Palace. Once you enter, turn to the right to face the Lord’s Stateroom. Alternatively, obtain the mission through the Conquest Tab in your Log panel.

Lord Serjay will give you the first and main mission, it’s called “The Devouring Plague“.

“Lord Serjay Thul, a Sith contender for the throne, has asked you to repel the Killik Black Hive. Chanya Medaal, a member of Alderaan’s Order of Extermination, has agreed to assist you and House Thul in your efforts.”

Now, go talk to Chanya. She is inside one of the buildings at Outpost Eudor to the north, in the Kaamos Territory.

Chanya updates your mission, sending you to Sergeant Namada (located in the same Outpost, just across the bridge to the west from Chanya, who will then give you the first sub-mission from the chain: “Lethal Attraction“.

Your objective is to head into a cave in the western part of Kaamos Territory and recover three items.

Defeating 20 Killik Burrow Forces will complete the bonus objective “Subduing the Soros”. Reward is just XP.

Below are the three items you need to collect. Their locations are marked on the map.

Next, head out of the cave and go east from Outpost Eudor, to the two marked locations. When inside the circled territories, use the little icon next to your mission objectives to complete the task.

Once finished, return to Sergeant Namada back at Outpost Eudor. This completes the mission and you are back to the main mission with a task to go speak to Chanya again.

She will update your main mission for this chain with a new objective – lure and defeat Joiners at sites Alpha and Beta.

Site Alpha is on the big bridge south-east of the outpost. Site Beta is further south-east from the first location. Once inside these circles, click the icon to the side of your mission objectives tab.

The next objective – talk to Lieutenant Sorchka – sends you to Thul Research Camp.

Next, go to Yudin Thul to get “The Lessons of History” mission. Yudin is just nearby, at the next bench/table in the same camp.

The Relic he asks you to retrieve is located to the far eastern part of the Kaamos Territory.

Take the road east from the Thul Research Camp. Then take right at the second crossroad. Climb up through the snowy mountain Anzaada and Pass through the Anzaada Cavern. When outside the cave, continue following the pathway leading you east until you reach the stone ruins.

Return to Yudin to complete the mission. Then return to Lord Serjay Thul to finish the main mission as well.

REWARDS

At the moment the rewards from these missions are nothing special. They are worthy repeating if you struggle for XP while leveling or for Conquest, but I don’t see how this would be a fact with all of the solo and group content available elsewhere.

The daily missions grant XP, Renown, Credits and some times a random Gear item. The main mission rewards you a Locked Supply Crate of your choosing.
