What is the Galactic Season System
The Galactic Seasons is a level-based seasonal in-game system in SWTOR. You can actively earn unique and exclusive rewards by completing specific Daily and Weekly Conquest Objectives called Priority Objectives. If you are a Subscriber, you will earn bonus rewards.
The entire Galactic Seasons system is Legacy-wide. This includes the levels you progress through and rewards you earn. The items you earn will be added to your collections, which is a great way to spread them to your other characters in your Legacy.
Both Subscribers and Free-to-play players have access to the Galactic Seasons system in SWTOR. To see your progress, open up the Daily Login Rewards window and navigate to the second tab at the top.
In comparison to how it was in Season 1, now Priority Objectives are called Season Objectives. They now occupy their own sub-tab in the Conquest window.
If you are new to the game, you may want to first check out what is the Galactic Seasons feature in SWTOR and how it works – a massive guide that will explain every part of this system. The current guide focuses on things like what’s new and what has changed in Galactic Season 2.
Galactic Season 2 Rewards Highlights
This segment will showcase the most interesting items that you can earn if you participate in the second Galactic Season.
Below the Highlights section, you will find a more detailed overview of what item is available where and how you can get it.
New Companion Fen Zeil
The new companion is a Duros named Fen Zeil and has 12 customizations. These customizations allow you to change his skin color, outfit, and eye covering.
Fen Zeil Customizations
There are 3 options for skin color: Blue, Pink, and Green. There are 2 eye coverings: eye patch and cybernetic, and basically 2 armor variants. A brown, simpler version and a black, detailed version called Shadow Master. Both armors use the Resilient Warden’s Breastplate as a base, though the brown version removes some elements.
The other pieces of gear are completely different for each outfit. Unlike Altuur zok Adon from Season 1, you cannot change the individual armor pieces, so the only way to change Fen Zeil’s appearance is with these companion customizations.
Fen Zeil Outlaw Customization
There is also a single version called the Outlaw customization where Fen Zeil wears a duster instead.
Fen Zeil Superior Weapon Set
This fancy weapon set is for your companion. It’s structured just like Season 1 where it’s an existing cool weapon from the Cartel Market with a specific tuning. For Altuur, it was the Starclipse which was Nahut’s Heavy Sniper Rifle with the Galactic Command tuning. For Fen Zeil, it’s a pair of Mischief blaster pistols with the Indigo Fog tuning.
New Mounts in Season 2
There is 1 new creature mount with 3 color variants and 1 new speeder mount with 2 color variants.
Thurrb (Creature mount)
I wish BioWare would put some of these new creature mounts out in the world as enemies or being used by NPCs.
Sorosuub ST-13 (Speeder mount)
There wasn’t a fancy version of the speeder in Season 1, but now there is. The base version of the speeder at progress level 21 and the fancy version of it at level 100. They both have the mount flourish where little flaps pop out of the bottom. You can see it active on the Triumbra and retracted on the SoroSuub.
This mount looks like BioWare took the barrel of one of Niko Okarr’s blaster pistols and turned it into a speeder. I still like it though.
The Triumbra also has little green exhaust vents that shoot green fire while moving.
New Player Armor Sets in Galactis Season 2
BioWare actually made good new armor sets for Galactic Season 2 instead of just pulling a scrapped CM armor design out of the trash bin as they did for the Mythran (Hunter) Armor from Galactic Season 1. The new armor sets remind me a lot of the Haxion Brood Commando from Jedi: Fallen Order.
Both armor sets are given piece by piece with the Shadow Initiate’s pieces being given at various Galactic Seasons levels between 10 and 40 while the Shadow Enforcer’s pieces are given at various levels between 65 and 95.
New Weapons in Galactic Season 2
There are two series of weapons. Each series has a distinct look and includes 1 of each type of weapon. The two collections are similar, but each have their own style, this is similar to how things were with the Altuur’s Exquisite and Ornate weapon series from Season 1, though I think they’re slightly more visually distinct from each other. The FZ-39 Shadow series features a purple color crystal as a base while the named weapons feature a teal color.
The “Shadow” collection
These weapons are all labeled as “FZ-39 Shadow + type-of-the-weapon”.
Named Weapons Collection
This collection of weapons are all titled using words that BioWare likely found in the thesaurus next to the word “shadow”.
New Stronghold Decorations
Under each image I have listed at what Galactic Season 2 level you earn them.

New Reputation: Shadow Syndicate
There is a new reputation associated with Galactic Season 2.
“Once a prominent organization on Nar Shaddaa, tensions between the Shadow Syndicate and the Exchange, as well as unchecked infighting, led to their downfall. Fen, who has a long history in the underworld scene, has established himself as the new figurehead and is looking to bring about a new Shadow of the Underworld–with your help.”
You can earn Underworld Syndicate Plans by completing Season Objectives, participating in Flashpoints, Operations, and Uprisings, and by defeating enemies throughout the galaxy
How to unlock the Shadow Syndicate reputation track
To unlock the new Reputation Track, you need to first Complete Level 1 and earn your new companion. Activate his mission “The Shadow of the Underworld” to get to Fen Zeil.
After talking to Fen Zeil, you will form a partnership. He will send you to speak to his associate. Qi’us Dnar is n the Lower Promenade on Nar Shaddaa.
Talk to this NPC to exchange Underworld Syndicate Plans for Reputation Tokens and build your reputation with the Shadow Syndicate in SWTOR.
You should trade Underworld Syndicate Plans only 10, 20 or 100 at a time. Doing so with 1-5 an has inferior exchange rates.
How to increase the drop-rate of Shadow Syndicate Rep Tokens
There is a new information broker Jawa named Brrazz located in the Cartel Bazaar hiding behind some crates in the northern part of the room.
When you talk to him, you can trade 500 Purple Jawa Junk for a consumable item called Jawa Intel.
Jawa Intel is used to increase the drop rate of Underworld Syndicate Plans. If you’re running low on purple Jawa Junk, there is a Jawa named Fuleesh located next to the other Jawas in the Cartel Bazaar where you can convert green junk into blue and blue into purple.
