Datacrons are hidden collectible items in SWTOR that provide a permanent stat boost to all of your characters within your Legacy on a server.
There are dozens of Datacrons spread across both the Republic and Empire factions in SWTOR. Each Datacron you collect permanently boosts the stats of every character you have, including new characters. Every Datacron also unlocks a Codex Entry which unlocks Lore for you to read.
This guide goes over all the Datacrons that you can find on the planet Onderon. Onderon is accessible to level 70 players. It’s located in the middle of empty space by the Coreward Worlds.
Onderon is accessible to both factions. Each walkthrough segment of the guide always begins with the recommended starting point on the map and ends with the location of the Datacron itself and the Data Codex Entry.

Onderon Red Mastery Datacron Location
This Datacron will permanently increase your Endurance with +7. It unlocks The Dagger at Dox Piter Codex Entry.
The closest travel point for this Datacron is the Forward Operating Base Quick Travel Point for Imperial Players and the Lake Overlook Quick Travel Point for Republic Players.
To start the path to the Datacron, travel to the Northmost point of the Onderon Jungles, halfway between the Lake Encampments and Crashed Ship. You should find a small cave with a ladder to jump down into.
Reaching the Datacron
Once you have entered the cave, walk into the Phase. This is a personal phase which means other players cannot help you.
Before you attempt to walk forward, be careful! Many of the floor tiles are fake and will kill you. You need to complete all puzzle parts carefully without dying if you want to get the Datacron!
You can point your cursor over the notepad next to the dead droid in order to see the correct path, indicated via 0’s on a map, with ^^^^ arrows representing your location. Jump across the following tiles. If you have Phasewalk or Hololocate, place it down now to save yourself later.
Once you have crossed the stone bridge safely, be very careful as the floor has tiny spikes that will kill you instantly. Look closely and jump only on boulders or floor tiles with no spikes.
Once you get around the first set of spikes, jump across the large gap and the rest of the spikes to reach the Datacron.
Before you click the Datacon. Know that it wont be successfully counted as complete until you also escape. If you die escaping even after clicking the Datacron you will need to exit the phase, re enter and try all over again.
Escaping the Datacron
Once you click the Datacron, a small cutscene will play and the room will fill up with Green Fog. You need to escape through the Personal Phase door for the Datacron to complete!
Head back the way you came, you have enough time to go safely and slowly but don’t take too long otherwise the Green Fog will touch you. Once you reach the Stone Bridge you can use your Phasewalk/Hololocate or take the path you took in reverse.
Successfully escaping the Cave will give you +7 Mastery to all characters and the following Codex Entry:
The Dagger at Dox Piter
Dox Piter was a small collection of villages in Onderon’s southern reaches, nestled around the base of a nigh unscalable spire of rock the villagers called “The Dagger.” Well beyond the protection of Iziz, the inhabitants were accustomed to fending off the dangers of Onderon–until the day the great winged Wodnakki arrived from Dxun. The beast found the Dagger’s peak irresistible, and it began nesting high above Dox Piter. Though the villages’ protectors had never seen its like before, some speculated that it was a massive, mutated Skreev. Whatever its lineage, it proved too much for any warrior who attempted to drive it away.
The horrors escalated when the Wodnakki’s eggs began to hatch. The newborn creatures (still easily the size of an average humanoid) took to swooping down on villagers and stealing them away to their unreachable roost. The village leaders of Dox Piter were certain this would be their end.
When news of the situation reached Queen Lina, the celebrated ruler gathered some of her most talented warriors and marched on Dox Piter. Succeeding where so many others had failed, Queen Lina and her Royal Guard took the fight to the top of the Dagger and clashed with the Wodnakki and its offspring. Though the battle lasted only a few hours, at its end, only two of Onderon’s champions walked away victorious. Queen Lina carried her injured officer Nebet into one of the closest villages, where they were met with cacophonous cheers and renewed loyalty to the crown. Regardless of the tale’s validity, the legend of Queen Lina and the Dagger at Dox Piter has fueled fears and inspiration of Onderonian children for years since.

Use your mount to jump across the next several wooden platforms as jumping normally will not work without Force Speed or similar skills.
Once you have made it to the top, go around the back and look for the small cave entrance and follow the path around ontop of the rock.
Once you reach the top, mount up and jump onto the next wooden scaffholding.
Get ontop of the large rock and head right to the big ramp. Mount up again and jump onto the ramp.
Follow the rocks further ahead to the next wooden ramp and then jump across diagonally to the next large rock.
You are now on the last rock, Mount Up and take a running jump onto the wooden platform with the Datacron!

Delicacies from the Demon Moon
Often overshadowed by political intrigue and stories of war is one of Onderon’s most noteworthy figures, the innovative culinary artisan, Chef Popotis of Iziz. In early years, Popotis had become disgruntled with typical Onderonian fare. The native beasts were tough and gamey, yielding generally bland results, and the indifference of his peers only frustrated him further. Popotis was certain that his home would become synonymous with dreary food and dull palates, until an attack on a supply shuttle changed his life.
Gazing from his apartment window, he watched as wild Drexls picked through the downed ship’s cargo. The creatures gnawed at boxes of provisions and tore into bags of powdered goods, producing clouds of various seasonings and spices among the wreckage.
Reignited zeal drove Popotis to achieve what others never believed possible: flavorful sustenance derived from Dxun’s creatures. Ultimately, years of experimentation paid off, and he became one of Onderon’s most distinguished chefs. From Popo’s Sweet Drexl Sausage in Nectarwine to Spiced Cannok Canapes, Popotis’s artistry with undesirable fauna made him known galaxy-wide. Even beyond the Inner Rim, his catalogue of recipes, “Delicacies from the Demon Moon,” became a bestseller.
