Full overview and some thoughts on the SWTOR Security Office Decoration Bundle, newly released with Update 7.2.1!
This bundle will give you a chance to relive the glory days as a Deputy Inspector at Pre-Mor Enforcement on Morlana One before you got fired, had to move back in with your nosy mother on Coruscant, and began stalking that nice lady from the ISB.
The Security Office Decoration Bundle is available for purchase on the Cartel Market with all decorations themed around furniture from the Security Office on Morlana One, the former employer of Syril Karn AKA everyone’s favorite incel from Andor. This decoration bundle contains 8 unique items, all of which come with 2 or more copies for a total of 22 decorations.
All of the items fit on Small, Medium, and/or Narrow hooks. While they look pretty cool and quite accurate to the TV show, they are all unfortunately too tiny and have more detail compared to the vast majority of decorations in the game. It’s quite distracting and makes it practically impossible to use them in the same room as most other decos.
I get the impression that the skilled artists BioWare has tasked with making these decos are disconnected from the rest of the team in some way, perhaps they contracted deco creation out to another team.
Regardless, it’s difficult to recommend these decos because they look so out of place with almost everything except others made by the same team, including the Imperial Console, Power Station, and Hired Gun’s Journey Decoration Bundles.
To make matters worse, there just aren’t enough decos of this size to fill up even the smallest Strongholds on their own and they look a tad ridiculous in the gigantic rooms anyway.
Hopefully, BioWare can get this sorted out by clarifying their size requirements with the appropriate people and just increasing the size of the existing models to match that of the other decos so they’re more usable.
