Overview of the Bundle’s Contents
In terms of value, this is a solid deal for a bundle. The contents of the bundle (not including the mount) would cost around $50 USD. It’s $29.99 USD for 60 days of Subscription and $19.99 USD for 2400 Cartel Coins, so overall you’re saving around $10.
One nifty feature of the K-NorCo B5C Mount is that even a level 1 character without Speeder Training can ride it! This is a great item for newcomers so they can more quickly tackle those early story missions on Tython, Korriban, Ord Mantell, and Hutta.
The K-NorCo B5C Speeder has a matte finish featuring a blue and purple paint job. It’s a very nice color combination that may remind some of Nuka Cola Quantum from the Fallout series. Unlike a lot of recent mounts to come out in SWTOR, your main hand color crystal doesn’t affect the color of the speeder’s exhaust.
Overall it’s a solid deal and I would recommend it to players new to Star Wars: The Old Republic who are certain they want to get into the game’s premium content gated behind a subscription. Alternatively, it would also be great for players who reached the Free To Play content cap and want to try more of the game!
The free content from Rise of the Hutt Cartel, Shadow of Revan, Onslaught, Knights of the Fallen Empire, etc. can and will take some time if you watch all the cutscenes and absorb the story. Two months of play time should be plenty to go through that and reach the pay-to-play story content even if you only play on weekends or after the day is done.
You may want to purchase directly from the SWTOR website instead of Steam, just to be safe. Players to this day are having issues with SWTOR transactions not processing through Steam which can require them to contact Customer Support to resolve the issue.
