SWTOR Galactic Season 6 “Building a Foundation” started with the release of Update 7.4.1. Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about it!
Table of contents
What is the Galactic Season System
The Galactic Seasons is a level-based seasonal in-game system in SWTOR. You can actively earn unique and exclusive rewards by completing specific Daily and Weekly Conquest Objectives called Priority Objectives. If you are a Subscriber, you will earn bonus rewards.
The entire Galactic Seasons system is Legacy-wide. This includes the levels you progress through and rewards you earn. The items you earn will be added to your collections, which is a great way to spread them to the other characters in your Legacy.
Both Subscribers and Free-to-play players have access to the Galactic Seasons system in SWTOR. To see your progress, open up the Daily Login Rewards window and navigate to the second tab at the top.
If you are new to the game, you may want to first check out what is the Galactic Seasons feature in SWTOR and how it works – a massive guide that will explain every part of this system.
Galactic Season 6 Rewards Highlights
This segment will showcase the most interesting items that you can earn if you participate in GS6. Below the Highlights section, you will find a more detailed overview of what item is available where and how you can get it.
GS6 Featured Reward: Copero Stronghold
Initially, the featured reward for Galactic Seasons was a new companion and associated story, but as of last season, Broadsword decided to mix up the formula and has continued to do so for GS6 by offering a positively exquisite stronghold on the Chiss planet, Copero. The story for this SH is linked to the Chiss Ascendancy, and as you progress through the Galactic Season, you’ll unlock additional rooms.
Read our full and incredibly detailed guide to the Copero Stronghold in SWTOR to learn how to unlock all of its rooms, what decorating options it offers and everything else, down to the smallest tiniest details!
GS6 Mounts
There is a new creature mount with 2 slight variations in color and model, though it’s a little more exciting than it sounds, I promise. There is also a new speeder mount with 2 levels of detailing.
Eyto Eyto Creature Mounts
The Eyto Eyto is the most adorable mount in the entire game, so prepare yourself because it’s basically an otter tauntaun. Rather than go with flashy VFX, they decided to go the biological route, as the 4 variations depict regional adaptations!
I’m not sure how to pronounce the “Ey” part of the name, it could be:
- Eyyto like “hey”
- Eyeto as in “eye”
- Eeto like “eeek”
The Eyto Eyto vary by color depending on their longitudinal hemisphere of origin. Western Eyto Eytos have browner fur with green scales and fins, whereas Eastern Eyeto Eytos have blue-green fur with dark purple scales and fins.
While their names distinguish them regionally, their latitudinal hemisphere of origin also follows cartoon animal rules regarding sexual dimorphism. The Northern Eyto Eyto has more aggressive and sharper-looking features that are usually reserved for male cartoon animals, whereas the Southern Eyto Eyto has softer, smaller features typically given to female cartoon animals.
You can purchase each Northern Eyto Eyto from Ki’at Thavo, the GS Seasonal Rewards vendor, for 3+2=5 GS Tokens total. Meanwhile, both of the Southern Eyto Eyto come from the GS subscriber track. In other words, if you’re a subscriber, you’re gonna get a couple of Eyto Eyto gal pals, both a light and a dark one.
(Pictured: Southeastern Eyto Eyto)
S-100 Boxxer Vehicle Mount
The vehicle mount is a purple recreation of the hip and trendy speeder “bikes” driven by the gaggle of cyborg teens in The Book of Boba Fett. The Turbo version you get at level 100 is a faithful recreation with all of the ornate bells and whistles, while the level 21 version has the same color but removes almost all of the detailing.
I know most people think these Vespas from Mos Espa look pretty tacky, but I hope they release the other colors because RPing the meme with your buddies would be pretty hilarious. Imagine how on fleek it would look to infiltrate Oasis City on Darvannis with your broskis, where everyone’s scooter has a different color!
For now, you’ll have to settle for only the lights on the Turbo having Dynamic Mount Colors on the headlights and lightstrips on the chassis. Like all the other LV 100 mounts from Galactic Seasons, the Turbo gives you 110% movement speed with Speeder Piloting 1.
GS6 Armor Sets
There are 2 armor sets featuring the garb of construction workers in Star Wars, that of an apprentice and their master. The sets aren’t my cup of tea, but this type of pairing should work perfectly for you and your companion.
Builder’s Apprentice
All pieces from the Builder’s Apprentice armor set can be obtained on the subscriber track from LVs 10-40.
Master Builder
All pieces from the Master Builder’s armor set can be obtained from LVs 65-95 on the subscriber reward track.
GS6 Armors Dyed
Pictured here are both armor sets with a high-contrast dye from the CM so that you can see which parts are dyed with the primary (Medium Green) and secondary (Deep Blue) colors and which parts don’t dye at all.
As you can see, the Builder’s Apprentice armor set dyes horribly. Major portions are undyable, though they have the luster of leather rather than fabric.
GS6 Dyes
There are 3 dyes available on the subscriber track. This time around, there are 2 regular dyes that each come in a stack of 10 and 1 enhanced dye that you can only get a single copy of. The regular dyes are purchasable from Ki’at Thavo the GS Seasonal Rewards vendor on the fleet for 2 GS Tokens, but the enhanced dye was not available for purchase.
Unless it was an oversight, you might only be able to get 1 copy of the Pearlescent Purple and Metallic Gold dye per server. Its color scheme matches that of the S-100 Turbo Boxxer mount, though I highly recommend using it with a different armor set.
GS6 Weapons
There are 2 sets of weapons with practically identical models but have distinct colorways. The color difference makes the named set look newer and cleaner, while the Architect’s set looks used and dirty, though both sets have the same amount of wear and tear.
The weapons in each set kind of blend together, which makes them feel really samey. However, I think most of them look pretty good on their own, and I encourage you to take a closer look at the ones usable by the combat styles you play.
The Architect’s Weapons feature brown wood and rubber attached to dark gray metal bits, whereas the named weapon set replaces the brown bits with beige and black plasteel and uses light blue lights instead of red. Each ranged weapon in the named set also includes a laser pointer on the ranged weapons. All weapons in both sets use a default copper color crystal, though no crystal is included in the weapon.
Architect’s Weapons
The Architect’s weapons are available on the free track from LVs 20-50.
Named Weapons
The named weapons all have names that involve words related to building and construction. They are available on the subscriber track from LVs 55-91.
GS6 Stronghold Decorations
There are 16 Stronghold Decorations, 14 of which are available through the subscriber-only track. The only way to get those without subscribing is by purchasing an individual copy from Ki’at Thavo. You get 5 copies of each of the 15 decos from the GS track and can purchase an additional copy of each for 2 GS Tokens from Ki’at Thavo, the GS Seasonal Items vendor.
There are 2 additional decos available that are not on the track. The first deco is the Copero Industrial Forklift, which you get as a reward for the Foundation Build achievement, which requires you to complete all other GS6 achievements. The second deco is Planetary Art: Tython, which is just sold by Ki’at Thavo alongside the other stuff from the current season.
GS6 New Titles and Stronghold Labels
There are a bunch of new titles available from various season-related sources. There is not a dedicated reputation for GS6, but those titles have been moved to the Seasonal Vendor, Ki’at Thavo and cost 3 GS Tokens.

Blueprint Fragments, No Reputation, and a CQ Nerf
Blueprint Fragments are the new “currency” for GS6, but there is no new reputation associated with this season. Instead, there are 3 character titles that are available for purchase from Ki’at Thavo for 3 GS Tokens each.
Blueprint Fragments are not stored in the Currency tab in your inventory. Instead, they are treated (and sold) as regular junk loot that is automatically tallied by your Chiss allies on Copero.
Each one sells for 1,000 credits. Don’t panic if you accidentally sell them. They have already served their purpose the moment they land in your inventory.
Like previous season-specific currencies, this one can drop from enemies and is given as a reward for completing daily and weekly objectives for GS. You also get 10 of them roughly every 5 levels on the subscriber track. We don’t know why Broadsword eliminated the Reputation track, but I think it has to do with currency and reputation track bloat.
Since there is no reputation vendor associated with any season, the reputation system was an overcomplicated delivery method for 3 titles. Many players were confused about the lack of a reputation vendor and may not have been sure where they needed to go to turn them in or how to get the currency or reputation trophies once the season ended.
The GS reputation tracks also featured different RXP scaling from the other systems, which felt arbitrary and confusing. It was also always weird that reputation trophies didn’t drop directly instead. We needed to manage and spend a currency in a conversation, both of which were pointless steps.
On a related note, the CXP given by the conquest objective “Advancement: Reputation” has been reduced significantly to 7,625 (SH bonus included) as a deliberate nerf. We got the following explanation on the forums:
The amount of Conquest points earned for the Reputation Conquest Objective was reduced. This particular objective was over-represented in objectives completed and needed to be balanced. We’ve added new objectives to help offset the loss that encourage you to play Galactic Seasons in the same manner that the Reputation one did but lowered the effect that the Reputation objective gave in its place.
These changes will be reflected in future Seasons as well, however, we know they can have an outsized effect on smaller guilds and will be keeping a close eye on the data over time and make adjustments as needed.
Joe Stramaglia, SWTOR Systems Designer
It’s pretty clear that the devs didn’t intend to incentivize players so heavily that they were hoarding their reputation trophies, only consuming 1 per day, and meeting their weekly CQ objective on multiple toons solely from that CQ objective. For many players, it effectively warped the main benefit of advancing reputation from gaining access to unique cosmetics to getting CQ and the associated bonuses.
This incredibly lucrative CQ objective slowed down the process of actually increasing your reputation rank and actively punished players that already maxed out their reputations, neither of which is desirable. The optimal path should be the most fun one.
