This guide covers all of the rewards you can get from the Feast of Prosperity fall event in SWTOR.
Up to date for the October, 8th – November 5th, 2024 edition of the event!
The Feast of Prosperity is one of the four Seasonal Events in SWTOR. It happens in the fall each year on the Promenade on Nar Shaddaa. All of the missions give you Prosperity Tokens and you can exchange them at the Feast of Prosperity Token Vendor for cool rewards.
Table of contents
Prosperity Tokens and Feast of Prosperity Token Vendor
The Feast of Prosperity Token Vendor is located on the northern side of the Upper Promenade on Nar Shaddaa, right next to everything else related to this little shindig. He sells various decorations, outfits, mounts, pets, emotes, weapons, and toys for Prosperity Tokens.
At first glance, he appears to be your run-of-the-mill Bastila Shan cosplayer, but this blue Twi’lek is a peculiar fella.
For one thing, he doesn’t have a real name, unless it says Feast of Prosperity Token Vendor on his speeder license. His outfit isn’t a perfect replica Bastila Shan’s robes either, and it’s not because he just bought a knock-off from Spirit Halloween.
He dyed it and uses different, glitzier accessories and footwear that you’d only find on one of those premium Officially Licensed costumes. Mr. Feast of Prosperity Token Vendor augmented his costume with cowboy boots stolen from Lando Calrissian’s Dashing Rogue ensemble.
Armor Sets
There are 3 armor sets available for purchase, 1 of which is new this year. None of them have all 7 pieces, they’re all Bind on Pickup (BoP), and each costs ~15k Prosperity Tokens for the full set.
For your convenience, we have also included a shot of how each set dyes with both regular and enhanced dyes. The dye previews use the Deep Orange and Light Blue regular dye and Metallic Brass and Metallic Copper enhanced dye.
[New] Feast Thermalguard Armor Set
The Feast Thermalguard’s armor set is new this year, costs a combined total of 14,250 Prosperity Tokens, and consists of 6 pieces (no gloves). This armor set binds on pickup, so make sure you buy it on the toon you want to wear it.
Unfortunately, the fashion crimes don’t end with Feast of Prosperity Token Vendor. This new set is called the Feast Thermalguard Armor Set, and to me, that implies they’re in charge of the heating elements, which begs the question WHY DOESN’T THE FEAST THERMALGUARD ARMOR SET COME WITH OVEN MITTS???
Despite still looking cool (especially on a Pyro PT), the set doesn’t dye very well and feels a tad unfinished. The primary and secondary colors are “flipped”, as the secondary color is featured more prominently even if it isn’t the base, per se.
The primary color uses a shiny leather material, so it might okay with primary-only metallic dyes, like the Metallic Black and Matte Black Dye, or the Primary Metallic Red one released alongside the Master the Fight: Firebolt Edition bundle.
The boots and apron pockets can get completely lost because they dye the same color as the pants and apron, respectively, and this is an issue even on the base set.
Feast Attire Armor Set
The full Feast Attire armor set costs a combined total of 16,500 Prosperity Tokens and consists of 6 pieces (no bracers). This armor set binds on pickup, so make sure to buy it on the toon you want to wear it.
The Feast Attire set features dyable fabric robes, almost exclusively using the primary color. The secondary color is a minor accent, so high contrast dyes won’t look so great, and neither will metallic enhanced dyes.
Feast Trader’s Armor Set
The Feast Trader’s armor set costs a combined total of 14,250 Prosperity Tokens, consists of 5 pieces (no bracers or gloves). This armor set binds on pickup, so make sure you buy it on the toon you want to wear it.
The Feast Trader set features mostly dyeable fabric and feathers, but there are a few undyable bits on the pants and boots. The balance of the primary and secondary colors is good, so any regular dye will look decent. However, the metallic enhanced dyes will look weird.
Feast Preparation Hat and Feast Thermalguard Helmet Comparison
There is also a standalone chef hat called the Feast Preparation Hat (left) that costs 1500 Prosperity Tokens, half that of the Thermalguard Helmet (right) .
Weapons
There is a full set of 6 pepper grinder-themed weapons called Gourmand’s Favorite [Weapon]. Each weapon costs 3750 Prosperity Tokens and the default color crystal is Purple.
Gourmand’s Favorite Sniper Rifle
Gourmand’s Favorite Dualsaber
Gourmand’s Favorite Lightsabers
Gourmand’s Favorite Blaster Rifle
Gourmand’s Favorite Assault Cannon
Gourmand’s Favorite Blaster Pistols
Stronghold Decorations
Most of the Stronghold Decorations feature food or are food-adjacent. There are a bunch of NPC Personnel decos you can use to liven up your banquet. Costs per deco range from 750-1875 Prosperity Tokens, so you’ll have to do the event a lot to decorate even a single small room.
[New] Regal Banquet Decorations
There are 14 new decorations available for purchase for an obscene amount of Prosperity Tokens. All of them are extremely snazzy and designed to match the aesthetics of the Manaan Stronghold.
If you enjoy the most hardcore endgame content in SWTOR, Space Barbie Dream House, you’ll understand that these additions are truly newsworthy. I think the devs wanted to go all out with these in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Strongholds being in the game, released on August 19th, 2014, as part of Game Update 2.9.
For the very first time in SWTOR history, we have decos featuring NPCs who are sitting in chairs. That’s right folks! Before 2024, it was not possible to make NPCs sit in chairs. We can only assume they simply didn’t have the technology to accomplish such an incredible feat until now.
The 4 seated NPCs available are all humanoid aliens that were recently added to the game or visually enhanced as part of Broadsword’s modernization efforts including Aqualish, Bith, Ishi Tib, and Snivvian guests. There’s also a Regal Banquet Table, and matching Chair and Banquet Rug.
In addition, we finally have a cooking element that doesn’t look like a fire hazard! Before today, we only had literal campfires, and a single appliance designed for use indoors called Underworld Cooking Stove. Now, we have the Regal Grill Bar and accompanying Barstools. Unfortunately, there are no NPCs seated at the bar.
The final items include gorgeous floral arrangements and some chic lighting.
It’s unfortunate that the prices are so insanely high, making it effectively impossible to use any of these decos in more than one room in a single stronghold.
