Learn how to complete the Riddle Square challenge in Crimson Desert. This Abyss puzzle involves flying through rings within the time limit. If successful, you’ll unlock the Storm Veil ability.

Riddle Square is the second in a series of Abyss puzzles. The order of this puzzle chain are as follows:

  1. Spire of Clockwork
  2. Riddle Square (this one)
  3. Origin of Thoughts
  4. Forgotten Altar
  5. Disconnected Truth
  6. Denn River Cube Puzzle
  7. Ether Fragment

Activate the course

The Riddle Square is less of a riddle and more of an obstacle course. It’s very similar to the Crossroads of Uncertainty, but a bit more difficult as this course has less time and requires sharper turns. Fortunately, it’s much shorter to complete.

Next to the fans at the center of the platform is a switch you can activate with Axiom Force. This will activate the rings overhead and you’ll have around 1 minute 10 seconds to complete the course.

Complete the course

The Swift Flight and Aerial Roll skills will be useful for this course. Swift Flight puts you at a downwards angle which will be useful for some portions of this course.

The first fan will take you up four rings, then you’ll need to fly through five rings turning to the right.

Drop down to the fan below then fly through the next three rings ahead. Go up the fan and then dive into the five rings going down. Last, take the fan with the horizontal breeze through the last five rings. Activate the switch at the end to activate the Abyss Artifact.

Unlock the Storm Veil Skill

When you complete the course successfully, you’ll unlock the Storm Veil ability. When activated, you’ll emit smoke around you to obscure enemy vision.

Activate the Skybridge and follow the path to the teleporter that leads to the Origin of Thoughts.
