BioWare continues everybody’s favorite event – Double XP – through May and into June. Two other regular recurring events will make an appearance as well – The Pirate Incursion on Dantooine and the Gree on Ilum
DOUBLE XP EVENT
This event doubles the earned XP, Renown, GSF and Valor. It doesn’t boost Conquest points, but who would need that. The new 6.1.1 Conquest system grants you Conquest points for just sitting online…
The Double XP event continues throughout the whole month of May and into June.
BioWare extend its duration. It was originally supposed to end on May 19. The new date is now June 16.
Because of the continuing issues with the Bounty Hunter event’s missions, the terminals had to be disabled twice for this month’s event. As a result of that BioWare decided to add another three weeks to the Double XP event, as an excuse and an apology to the players. Well received by all, I think!

PIRATE INCURSION
This is the newest SWTOR event to be added to the roster. The Pirate Incursion happens on Danotoine. It allows you to participate on both warring sides – Empire and Republic.
I have a complete guide to everything you need to know about the Pirate Incursion event. Dantooine includes activities during quiet times as well, so it’s worth visiting the planet any time. The guide will help you do and find anything and everything there.

Requirement: Level 20+
The remote planet Dantooine has been thrust into the center of escalating hostilities between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Spurred on in secret by covert Imperial forces, the Nova Blade pirates have staged an all-out attack on the pastoral Republic world. As the Republic scrambles to defend this key territory at the edge of Imperial space, the Empire plans to capitalize on the chaos and deal a major blow to the longtime Republic bastion.

RELICS OF THE GREE
The month will end with one of the oldest, but coolest events in SWTOR’s history, in my opinion. The Gree are coming back to Ilum and with that – a ton of missions and boss encounters will spawn again.
I may not be as excited to see the creatures-with-tentacles return for the millionth time, but if you haven’t participated in the Relics of the Gree, you are missing a lot!

Requirement: Level 50+
Explore Ilum’s contested area in the Western Ice Shelf to uncover the mysterious purpose of the Gray Secant, an enormous ancient Gree starship. Get ready to face a powerful opponent that awaits you at the center of this ancient vessel. Visit the in-game News Terminal located on Carrick Station in the Republic fleet or Vaiken Spacedock in the Imperial fleet to get started on your adventure!
