Full Guide to the SWTOR All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally event. Learn what you can do and how to earn your reputation and cool rewards!

In September2025, the event will run from 2nd to 9th.

The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally Racing event was first released with SWTOR game update 6.1.2 in June 2020. It immediately joined the rest of the recurring events on a rotation cycle.

The event allows you to experience a SWTOR version of the famous (classic even) Swoop Racing events many KOTOR veterans remember with nostalgia.

What is the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally

The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally is a recurring weekly event in Star Wars The Old Republic. It is available on Dantooine, Onderon and Tatooine and allows you to participate in unique racing swoop bike courses. By winning races and progressing through the swoop gangs’ reputation tiers, you unlock more of the storyline, complete various achievements and earn shiny cosmetic items.

The event falls in a rotation with all the other recurring monthly or by-monthly events like the Bounty Hunting Week, the Gree visit to Ilum, the Dantooine Incursion and the Rakghoul plague.

You can choose to race for one of three factions and earn reputation with them as you complete the missions and objectives they give you.

The All Worlds Ulatimate Swoop Rally is a simulation of the fan-favorite races from Knights of the Old Republic role-playing game. It attempts to bring back old memories and nostalgia, but in a typical SWTOR fashion.

What I mean by that? SWTOR’s mount speed is severely limited. This is most likely due to a technical limitation of the engine the game is built upon.

The Swoop Racing is a lot slower in terms of speed, but each of the three available courses on the three planets the event is running on offer unique experience, challenges and rewards.

Congratulations! You’ve just taken your first steps toward joining the pantheon of the most famous (and infamous!) crews in the history of swoop bikes. You stand ready to take part in the galaxys most esteemed and distinguished pastime—and you’re gonna have a blast doing it!

Now, to understand swoop riding, you must understand where it originated from—and if you figure that out, can you let us know? We’re pretty sure it started on Taris, but since it blew up (it was a whole thing) we don’t know for sure.

Even if it didnt start there, Taris was still a pretty important part of the swoop world (did you know Revan won a big swoop event there?), and after it got destroyed, the circuit took a huge hit. Luckily, we still had other swoop tracks to compete on, like the ones on Tatooine, Nar Shaddaa, Onderon, and Manaan.

For centuries, swoop biking has been an awfully popular sport, and even the most inexperienced newbie (that’s you!) is more than welcome to participate, so long as they got a bike! So, what kind of rider will you be? Are you a Hidden Bek, looking to use your potential fame and name recognition to help the little people? Or are you a Black Seraph, just itching to pick a fight and make some creds?

How to start the event

The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally event is tied to a conquest. This means that it will appear once a month or perhaps even once every other month.

There is no schedule available for more than a month ahead as BioWare only likes to announce the upcoming events for the next thirty to forty days. Check up with VULKK.com regularly to learn when and what events are announced for each month.

all worlds ultimate swoop rally - starter mission location

When the event is active you will be able to pick up the starter mission from the Empire and Republic Fleets. On the outer ring of the Fleet, look for a giant floating scoreboard terminal. Click on it to watch a short cinematic.

Each Conquest starts at 18:00 GMT on Tuesday. This is the time when the terminal should appear.

Republic Starter Mission Cinematic

Please note that if you cannot see this or any other video included in this guide, it may be because your adblocker tool is preventing them from loading properly.

Empire Starter Mission Cinematic

All cinematics, part of the event, are in what BioWare calls “KOTOR Classic” style. This means that the camera will be static, parked behind your character and your lines will not be voiced.

The intros for Republic and Empire players are different, but they both send you to Dantooine. Both the clips start off with a news report on “swoop gangs” appearing out of nowhere. Both factions’ news reports describe them as dangerous and advice to avoid them. Don’t! You are missing the fun!

Available activities during the event

There are three different guilds that are willing to give you unique objectives to run the tracks for them using their specially modified swoop bikes.

The All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally event is available on Dantooine, Onderon and Tatooine. The three planets offer different tracks, but they all offer the same types of missions, based on which gang you decide to race for.

First, though, go to Dantooine!

Head to the eastern end of the map, find Zella and speak to her. The video below shows this conversation from the point of view of a grumpy Sith Warrior.

Now, it’s time to meet the three recruiters for the three gangs (factions) you can race for.

Who are the Blatant Beks

Bangcap is the recruiter for the Blatant Beks. He is the co-founder of the gang and a seasoned rider along with the mechanic Old Morta.

all worlds ultimate swoop rally - Bangcap

The Blatant Beks task you to use your speeder bike’s abilities to complete a number of challenges like destroy targets they have placed on the sides of the track or remote detonate fireworks displays as you pass by them.

To win the race for them you need to blow up a number of objects.

The noise. The flash. For the swoop bikers who call themselves the Blatant Beks, there’s nothing better than when something blows up on the track.

Founded by Bangcap, a seasoned swoop rider, and a mechanic named Old Morta, the Blatant Beks are often compared to the Tarisian gang that shares their namesake, the Hidden Beks—much to the annoyance of Bangcap, who seems to only prioritize figuring out how to make explosions bigger and louder.

Most of the Beks, if not all, share Bangcap’s affinity for pyrotechnics, which are known in the swoop world as the gang’s signature. Fans don’t consider a rally a complete success unless they see the Blatant Beks destroy something beyond repair.

Anyone who rides for the Beks must adhere to this style, and they’ll no doubt use that same philosophy to put on a blazing show for the spectators at the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally. This Rally’s sure to have no shortage of loud and fiery blasts!

Who are the Horizon’s Razors

Talk to Madon Drees to get a better idea of what this gang is about. The Horizon’s Razors don’t have a leader. Their origins and founders are lost to time.

all worlds ultimate swoop rally - Horizon's Razors Madon Drees

The Horizon’s Razors gang is all about speed. As you run the tracks on the gang’s bikes your objectives will be to use speed boosts along the track and pick up the Turbo Orbs to charge up your bike’s boost. The trick is to remember where the Nova Blades have left bombs and avoid those.

This is the event that will allow you to feel like a real swoop racer from SWTOR. Or as close as possible, thanks to SWTOR’s coding.

One of the oldest crews in the swoop world, the riders of Horizon’s Razor have been blazing past the competition for decades. Who founded Horizon’s Razor is knowledge lost to time, as the Razors don’t have leaders. Instead, they tend to follow whoever is the fastest rider in the current moment.

A lack of organized hierarchy has caused many dilemmas for the crew. Foolhardy behavior and disagreements that turn to infighting are commonplace. In their most recent predicament, the Razors pushed themselves into an interminable debt after placing many ill-advised and risky bets.

Despite the instability within the crew, Horizon’s Razor has no shortage of faithful fans who are completely enamored by these riders and their daredevil speed. Many have even been known to help the Razors out of tricky situations.

Whispers are spreading that the Razors have come to the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally not only to impress, but to climb their way out of the trouble they find themselves in. Could this Rally be the comeback Horizon’s Razor has been waiting for?

Who are the Pit Screamers

The representative of the Pit Screamers is the trandoshan Raossk. He is the gang’s leader.

all worlds ultimate swoop rally - Raossk

The Pit Screamers are all about fame and glory if you judge them by the objectives they task you with if you select their mission for the tracks – impress the fans, weave through hoops (metal rings) and do the big jumps along the course.

Known for inventing new death-defying stunts and swoop biking tricks for as long as anyone can remember, the Pit Screamers’ piloting skills are unmatched throughout the sport.

Raossk, their current leader, drives the gang to ever-greater (and more dangerous) tricks. Some see his single-minded focus as an asset to the group, but not all agree with his decisions. Regardless, the Pit Screamers are loved by fans all over the galaxy—and for good reason.

What Missions are available during the event

There are nine daily missions available on three terminals (one for each of the three gangs). Each faction has three daily missions for you – one for each planet the event runs on – Dantooine, Onderon and Tatooine.

The weekly missions available (on another separate terminal) are:

  • Blatant Beks Courses – complete 3 missions for the gang
  • Horizon’s Razors Courses – complete 3 missions for the gang
  • Pit Screamers Courses – complete 3 missions for the gang
  • Swoop Rally Champion – complete 6 missions from the event

The rewards for each daily and weekly missions include gang-specific reputation tokens and gang-specific currency token to trade for one of the new items available with the event. On top of that you also earn the regular rewards – XP, Renown and Credits. The Bonus objectives earn you Credits, XP and Renown only.

You should not underestimate the bonus mission objectives as you can get rich in a short amount of time by completing them too while on the tracks. I didn’t include this method in the How to Make Credits in SWTOR Guide, because it’s only available when the event is live, but you should make good use of it when you can!

Here is a list of the available rep tokens and currency tokens you can earn (reminder – purple = largest amount of points, blue = medium amount of points, green – least amount of points):

The items you can trade for the currency tokens at the vendors are described in detail in another paragraph further below.

As Zella told you, “it takes some time to get used to each crew’s course set up” (objectives and requirements to run the track with their swoop bike), so you can only do one at a time on a given planet.

In simple words, each of the three factions offers you one daily mission for each planet. If you choose a gang’s mission on one planet, you cannot do another mission for another gang on the same planet before you finish the previous one.

Even more simply put: Picking the Blatant Beks mission on Dantooine, will not allow you to pick any other Dantooine mission from the other two gangs with that character until you finish the one you have in your log.

You can always abort a mission and delete it from your mission log before you complete it. This will allow you to choose again from all available missions without any locks.

How to complete the Swoop Gangs Story Arcs

There are a number of achievements attached to the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally. Some of them are tied to the storylines involving the three swoop gangs and their representatives.

As you noticed in the introductory mission, each gang has specific requirements for you to complete before they can trust you.

Swoop Bike

Completing more races for each gang and advancing through the Reputation tiers will unlock for you the next steps of the storyline of these gangs.

“Outside these repeatable challenge courses, you’ll unlock three story Missions for each gang as you progress through their reputation tracks. The more they trust you, the more you’ll become part of the inner circle, learning more about each gang, their history, and some of their highest-profile members. These short, but fun, interludes highlight your induction into the thrilling world of swoop.” – BioWare said in their news article

Keep in mind that you cannot grind out all of the reputation in one run. The event usually lasts for a week and there are weekly limits as to how many Reputation Points you can earn per week. This means that you will have to wait for a bit before you can complete the storylines of the swoop gangs and earn the related achievements.

How to start and complete a swoop race

Swoop Rally event start and finish line

A step-by-step walkthrough explaining how to pick up a daily mission and start a race during the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally event, available on Dantooine, Onderon and Tatooine.

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Active Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 4 minutes

Instructions

  1. Head to the mission terminal near the tracks. It's located usually close to the start/finish line. Click on it and select a mission to pick up. On Dantooine the three terminals are behind the starting line, next to each other. On Tatooine and Onderon the terminals are in the gangs' own camps.
  2. Click on the flashing Mount next to the gang's representative in its camp. Mont up to see the swoop bike's abilities bar
  3. Check out its special skills and powers. Remember, each bike from each faction has different set of special abilities. Swoop Bike Abilities
  4. Head towards the starting line. A timer will count down 3, 2, 1. Start the race! Swoop Rally event start and finish line
  5. To complete the course, run through the track performing the stunts and doing the activities the mission objective requires you to do. Note that the time challenge is a bonus objective.

Notes

To start the event, go to the floating scoreboard terminal on the Fleet and watch the short cinematic. It will start the intro mission for you that will send you to Dantooine. That's the prep time I listed at the top of this card.

Once you pick up a mission from the mission terminals, you can use the quick travel feature (the little icon next to the objective in the quest tracker on your screen) to travel instantly to the race's location.

You can have only one type of course mission active per planet. The tracks are the same, but the objectives and objects around the track change based on the mission you have chosen to do.

One run may not be enough to get the most out of the track. Take your time to learn the course. Do a few practice runs to find out where are the objectives and what traps lay ahead.

As soon as you start a race, two bonus missions will appear. One is usually to finish before the set timer expires and the second one is about you doing more of the stunts and actions on the course than the main mission objective requires you to.

Planets and Race Tracks Differences

The event is simultaneously available on three planets: Dantooine, Onderon, and Tatooine. Each track features unique terrain and tricks you have to perform as well as obstacles you have to avoid.

You can quick travel to the tracks by picking up a daily mission and using the button next to it in the mission tracker. This will spawn you right at the swoop gangs’ camp where you can pick up a swoop bike and head to the start line.

Quick travel to a track

Dantooine Track

The Track on Dantooine is likely the first one you will complete because the starter quest leaves you near the starting point, where all of the terminals are.

Dantooine Track Map Location

Although the tracks are not meant to be scaled as more difficult or easier from each other, the Dantooine track is likely a tiny bit easier.

The obstacles (hazards) you will encounter here are electric mines. If you step on them or pass too close to them, you will explode them. This will result in your swoop bike flying up in the air and suffering from a reduced speed for a few seconds after.

Mine obstacles on the Dantooine Track

Onderon Track

The Onderon track could perhaps be claimed as the most challenging because of the visual clutter on you screen. The lush fauna and flora environment and the track design might confuse some of the less skilled swoop bike riders.

Onderon Track Map Location

The obstacle (hazard) on Onderon’s track is a platform that spawns metal spikes if you step on it. Sometimes the terrain might cover up one of the two antennas on the sides of the platform. The result of passing through this obstacle is that you are slowed for a few seconds.

Spikes obstacles on the Onderon Track

Tatooine Track

The Tatooine track takes place around the derelict ship in the northeastern part of the Dune See. Some of you might remember that this is where the original Rakghoul event took place. The Sarlacc Pit is also not too far to the north-northwest from the starting point. One of the two hidden achievements from this event is related to the Sarlacc. More on that later.

Tatooine Track Map Location

The obstacles (hazard) here are red circles that represent a sand storm. Due to their color, the circles may be hard to spot sometimes. When you pass through them, you are slowed down for a few seconds.

Sandstorm obstacles on the Tatooine Track

Track Challenges and Swoop Bike Abilities

Each gang has its own track challenges. They all care for a different aspect of the swoop racing event and demand that you do different tricks and perform unique acrobatics or take specific actions to impress the gang’s supporters and spectators.

It doesn’t matter if you run the gang’s course on Dantooine, Onderon or Tatooine. The maps are different, but the objectives are similar.

The time challenge is present in each one of the cources, but it is optional – for an extra reward. You can take it as slow as you wish on your first run to get used to the mechanics.

Now, what about the different track tricks and the unique swoop bikes?

Note, in the objectives lists below I deliberately avoid mentioning exact numbers of items you need to pick up, explode or interact with, because BioWare may change this in the future.

The Blatant Beks Course

This gang tasks you to destroy a number of targets on your way through the course and activate a number of fireworks.

Blatant Beks Course Objecives:

  • Complete the Course
  • Explode Targets
  • Activate Fireworks Platforms
  • (Bonus) Gratuitous Explosions – Explode Additional Targets
  • (Bonus) Blatant Beks: Time Trial Finish before the time expires

Tips:

  • Use your Speed Boost to help with the timed challenge bonus.
  • The explosive are red objectives with a red marked above them. To explode the marked targets, click on the Toss Explosive ability and place the green marker on the target object.
  • The fireworks are surrounded by an orange circle with triangle markers on it. To activate them, press the Activate Fireworks ability when near the object.
  • Don’t be afraid to cut corners.
  • Don’t use the brake ability too often or at all.
  • Try not to run along other players. If your PC is slower, this might create unwanted lag for you (unless BioWare finds a fix for that). If you want to roleplay, by all means do the real racing. However, note that at the time of this publication, some bugs were observed and lag was present for some players when more than another racer was on the track nearby your character.

Traps to avoid on the racing tracks

There are a ton of unique traps on the courses of the All Worlds Ultimate Swoop Rally event that away you on each of the three different planets.

Below I have gathered images to show you what they all look like on Dantooine, Onderon and Tatooine. The effect of the traps is identical – they slow you down.

Avoid these bombs, they slow you down (Dantooine example):

The alternative to the bombs on Onderon are these mettal arrows that also slow you down if you pass through them:

And finally – Tatooine’s Sandstorms are my favorite traps. They also slow you down for a brief period of time:

Reputations Rewards and Titles

Winning races (completing missions) for each gang will reward you with a reputation token – purple for the Weekly, blue for the Daily mission.

You can use these tokens to increase your reputation with the factions.

There are three new reputations to grind out – one for each faction. The good news is that they are all legacy bound and shared among Empire and Republic players.

Below are three lists with the six standard tiers – one for each faction and what Legacy-bound titles you can unlock by reaching a certain level of reputation with them:

Blatant Beks Reputation Tiers

  • Outsider (you start here)
  • Newcomer
  • Friend (unlock new title: Demolitionist)
  • Hero
  • Champion
  • Legend (unlock new title: Explosive Personality)

Horizon’s Razors Reputation Tiers

  • Outsider (you start here)
  • Newcomer
  • Friend (unlock new title: The Fast)
  • Hero
  • Champion
  • Legend (unlock new title: Speed Demon)

Pit Screamers Reputation Tiers

  • Outsider (you start here)
  • Newcomer
  • Friend (unlock new title: High Flier)
  • Hero
  • Champion
  • Legend (unlock new title: Daredevil)

Catchy titles for sure. These are among the most interesting and creative (also bound to the gangs’ style and mission objectives) titles I have seen lately.

Reminder: If you are a SWTOR Subscriber player, you earn 50% more reputation per token used.

Reputation Vendors Items overview

There are three different vendors, located in the gangs’ camps near the tracks. Each vendor offers a collection of items. The vendors are also available on the Fleet.

Each item costs between 20 and 350 currency tokens for the specific faction. Some also require you to be of a certain level of reputation with the faction to purchase and use them.
