December is, as usual, full of events in SWTOR. This year we have two of the recurring events, a seasonal event – Life Day, the 14th Anniversary and Double XP.
Relics of the Gree
The Western Ice Shelf on Ilum will be full of aliens and brave heroes looking to help the aliens once again. The Gree will return for more experiments and stay for a week.
Date: December 9 – December 16 (begins and ends at 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 50+
Explore Ilum’s contested area in the Western Ice Shelf to uncover the mysterious purpose of the Gray Secant, an enormous ancient Gree starship. Get ready to face a powerful opponent that awaits you at the center of this ancient vessel. Visit the in-game News Terminal located on Carrick Station in the Republic fleet or Vaiken Spacedock in the Imperial fleet to get started on your adventure!

14th Anniversary
Another year has passed for SWTOR and Broadsword is celebrating it with the expected collection of rewards available from the Anniversary Personnel vendor on the Fleet.
Date: December 16 – January 6 (begins and ends at 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 10+
This year the new additions include new Class Ship Decorations and a new TOR-14 Astromech Droid Minipet. All previous anniversary rewards will also be available.
Starting with the 14th anniversary event, you will be able to purchase the Coruscant Stronghold and Kaas City Strongholds for 11 credits each. This price will remain until the game’s next update is released.
A special “Anniversary Personnel” vendor can be found on the fleet with new Class Ship Stronghold Decorations. All previous anniversary rewards will also be available during this limited time as well. We’ve also brought back the annual stronghold sale! Both Coruscant and Kaas City Strongholds have received their annual discount, and can be purchased for only eleven credits each until the launch of our next game update!
Life Day
Life Day returns for a full month. Snowballs, happy wookiees and warm feelings will fill up not only the Republic and Empire Fleets, but the entire Galaxy! This year the new highlight is the Vectron Tinsel Taxi Mount.
Date: December 16 – January 13 (begins and ends at 12:00PM GMT)
Requirement: Level 10+
It is that time of the year again – denizens across the galaxy get ready to celebrate Life Day! Special Missions like “A Special Snowflake”, “Parcel Droid”, and “Could Use a Good Hug” are available during this limited time. Throwing snowballs and participating in these Missions will earn players Snow-Covered Parcels, redeemable for unique rewards. Get out there, throw some snowballs, hug some Wookiees, and most importantly, have fun! For this year’s edition, we’re introducing new rewards such as a new Gala Hat, the Family of the First Seed Weapons, and new decorations.

Pirate Incursion
The Nova Blade pirates will once again attempt to take over Dantooine. Maybe for the fresh apples. Maybe for the pastoral views and gardens. Maybe for other valuables. You have to go and stop them.

Requirements: Level 20+
The remote planet Dantooine has been thrust into the center of escalating hostilities between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Spurred on in secret by covert Imperial forces, the Nova Blade pirates have staged an all-out attack on the pastoral Republic world. As the Republic scrambles to defend this key territory at the edge of Imperial space, the Empire plans to capitalize on the chaos and deal a major blow to the longtime Republic bastion.

Double XP Event
Everyone’s favorite time of the year aligns (as always!) with everyone’s favorite in-game event in SWTOR. Double XP returns for two weeks right in time for Christmas and New Year when most of us will be at home, resting and celebrating the holidays.
