The Mandalorian and Grogu arrive at theaters, Disney Parks and Fortnite | Star Wars Weekly News

Celebrations of the latest Star Wars movie, featuring Din Djarin and Grogu, are everywhere! Theaters, parks, and even games!

The Mandalorian and Grogu is out!

After waiting for months and being bombarded on social media with hundreds of ads, The Mandalorian is finally available for everyone to see. There are a lot of people who love it and many others who didn’t, just like with every Star Wars project released after the original trilogy.

If the internet has taught us something, it’s that the most vocal side of the fandom doesn’t necessarily speak for the general audience. For better or worse.

My recommendation is that you go watch it with an open mind. Ideally, without being predisposed to like/dislike it because of what you see online. If you’re curious, my spoiler-free review goes over my impressions and overall experience.

The Mandalorian and Grogu Movie Review (Spoiler-Free)

RIP Tom Kane

Earlier this week, we learned the sad news about Tom Kane’s passing. His name might not ring a bell initially, but I guarantee that most of you know him.

Tom Kane is mostly known for being the iconic narrator of The Clone Wars. He also voiced Yoda, Admiral Yularen, and Admiral Ackbar.

New items arrive at Disney Parks

A brand new BDX Droid Popcorn Bucket and Grogu Jetpack Sipper are now available at Disney Parks. The BDX Popcorn Bucket is priced at $29 and the Grogu Jetpack Sipper is priced at $35.

Prices may vary a little bit depending on your location, but this should give you a good idea of how much you need to spend to get both. These two items are limited to two per person, per transaction, while supplies last.

The Mandalorian and Grogu, in Fortnite!

Fortnite joins the celebration of The Mandalorian and Grogu with new cosmetic items.

The new items include a BDX Droid companion, Tie Fighter Tow emote, Beskar Mythosaur pickaxe, Modified Beskar Hallikset guitar, and The Mandalorian in a Pen & Ink style.

You can buy these items individually or in a bundle for 2000 V-bucks (the bundle doesn’t include the BDX Droid). The previously released Grogu Backbling is available as well. These items will be available on the Shop until May 31, 2026.

Legends: Legacy Omnibus Vol. 1

The entire Legacy series is absolutely a must-read for any Star Wars fan. Although it is placed under the Legends tag now, these are amazing storylines with fantastic visuals and lots of action and rich lore.

Darth Krayt has claimed himself Emperor after slaughtering many of his “allies”. The powerful Sith threatens the galaxy and only someone who is part of the Skywalker legacy might be able to stop him. This issue collects Star Wars: Legacy (2006) 0, 0-1/2, 1 – 36, 41. Release date: May 19, 2026.
