Where to find Gohma
The Parasitic Armored Arachnid, Gohma, is the boss the Great Deku Tree. She’ll be in the room past the three Deku Scrub Brothers on floor B2.
As you enter the room, you’ll hear something moving but there’s nothing in the area that you can see. Look up and you’ll see Gohma crawling on the ceiling. When she looks back, she’ll jump down and the fight will start.
A Sight for Sore Eyes
While on the ground, Gohma will lunge forward to attack you. If her eye is red, she’s about to attack. Evade her and when she misses, she’ll get stuck in the ground from her own attack and her eye turns green. Attack her with your sword while she’s stuck.
How to deal with her eggs
After hitting her eye with your sword a bit, Gohma will crawl onto the ceiling. When she pauses, she’s going to drop some eggs that spawn Gohma Larvae. Destroy the eggs before they hatch if you can.
Take advantage of her green eye that appears when she’s laying eggs, using your Slingshot to bring her back down. She’ll be stunned when she lands, so attack her before she gets up.
Rewards for defeating Gohma
After defeating Gohma, you can pick up a Heart Container and earn the Kokiri’s Emerald. After talking to the Great Deku Tree, you can finally venture out of Kokiri Forest into Hyrule Field and meet the Princess of Hyrule!
