In Game Update 5.8 “Command Authority” Bioware brought 2 classic SWTOR Companions back and created a short cinematic cutscene for Arcann!

Arcann Romance
This mission is available to all players, who have completed KOTFE and KOTET and have kept Arcann alive. The alliance alert is called “Unmasked Regret“.
After nearly 2 years of fans asking for a romantic relationship with Arcann to be made available, Bioware finally allowed this. In typical style for the studio, the Flirt option is available for all players and works in SGR too.
At the end of the mission you will receive a special gift from Arcann – a Chest Armor Piece, Hand Crafted Zakuul Knight Breastplate. It can be used as an actual armor shell to place mods in, or as a decorative outfit.

Ashara Returns
Ashara Zavros is one of the Sith Inquisitor’s original companions. She makes a return in Patch 5.8. The requirements to get the Alliance Alert from Sana-Rae is to have completed Knights of the Eternal Throne story expansion (all 9 chapters) and be a Sith Assassin or Sith Sorcerer.
The alliance alert mission for Ashara’s return is called “A Padawan No More” and doesn’t offer much. There is one interesting thing – you can refuse Ashara’s companionship at the end of the mission and she will not join you. KOTFE is not required
Vector Returns
Imperial Agents will see the return of their crewmate and member of the Killik Hivemind, Vector! To unlock it, you need to have done the Imperial Agent origin storyline and complete Chapter 9 of Knights of the Eternal Throne.
The Alliance Alert is just a conversation, no actual gameplay involved. You land on Alderaan, head inside the Palace and talk to Vector.
If you have had romantic relations with this character, you can resume where you left things before the Freezing and all of the events that followed during KOTFE and KOTET.
I must admit, when Vecor says “It is good to hear your song again, agent”, it feels right back at home. No Outlander, no Commander. Just… AGENT!
Vector will complain a bit about how the Empire was not fair and declare interest to return to your side and join the Alliance.
