Learn how to complete the Origin of Thoughts Puzzle in Crimson Desert. This is the third challenge in a series of puzzles and in this one you must align the pillars to make the structure whole.
Origin of Thoughts is the third in a series of Abyss Puzzles. The order of this puzzle chain are as follows:
- Spire of Clockwork
- Riddle Square
- Origin of Thoughts (this one)
- Forgotten Altar
- Disconnected Truth
- Denn River Cube Puzzle
- Ether Fragment
Fly up and power the fans
After making your way to the Abyss Nexus at this puzzle, you’ll want to go to the left and fly up the gust made by the fans. When you reach the second ring, look west and you’ll find some inactive fans.
Pick up the power cell from the ruins to the right, then place it into the socket on the ruins to the left to activate the fans. Continue ascending up to the top of the structure.
Power the structure
When you reach the top, the rings at the top of the structure will have a yellow light. On the east side of the ring is a platform that contains a control switch. Use Axiom Force on it to gain control of the rings.
On each of the three rings you control is a pillar as seen by the circular light. Align these with the fixed pillars on the top left corner, then exit to power up the structure.
Jump back down to the base of the structure and use an Aerial Force Palm to activate the Abyss Artifact. The Skybridge opens up a teleporter in front of you that will take you to the platforming section of the Skybridge.
Loot the Chests at the Skybridge
The Skybridge for Origin of Thoughts will have you flying over long distances. It’s easy to lose your sense of direction here, so use the blue lasers overhead to navigate your way if you feel lost.
When you land on the platform with two green trees in the corner, look for the small chest that can contain upgrade materials.
On the next structure with fans just ahead of this one, if you look to the north, you’ll see a bunch of structures floating off in the distance. You’ll want to aim to reach the farthest one using the highest fan on the top of this structure.
When you reach the top of this structure, look down the hole in the middle to find a small gap in the wall below.
Drop down and glide into the hole to find the chest. This one will always contain a Faded Abyss Artifact and a Shockward II Abyss Gear.
Glide back to the first set of fans or teleport back to the start of the skybridge and continue across the fans toward the teleporter.
Reach the teleporter at the end of the Skybridge and you’ll be taken to an Abyss area made of red stone, the Forgotten Altar.
