There are 8 legendary amulets in The Blood of Dawnwalker. We’ll show you each one’s stats, what each is good for, and how to get them all!
Amulet of Crimson Steel
The Amulet of Crimson Steel significantly buffs your stamina and weapon attack power. This is the best amulet in the game for Swordsmanship-focused builds.
Even if you aren’t wielding a sword, this is still a solid option day or night, so long as you aren’t using claws. Weapon boosts do not apply to claws and vice versa.
You can loot the Amulet of Crimson Steel from a specific Solider Picket east of Svartrau Outskirts after getting high enough Infamy.
Arbiter’s Medallion
The Arbiter’s Medallion reduces stamina costs for attacking and blocking while increasing max stamina and physical damage reduction.
This is a great amulet if you find yourself constantly reaching for the bottle and just want to button mash or otherwise not worry about getting tuckered out.
You can loot the Arbiter’s Medallion from a skeleton in the one and only waterfall cave in Vale Sangora. It’s near the big bridge northwest of Svartrau Outskirts along with the Manumits’s stash of silver.
Corrupted Pendant
The Corrupted Pendant focuses on buffing vrakhir trats, so it’s a nighttime-only amulet.
Since it doesn’t buff claw attacks and The Shredder is more focused on that, the Corrupted Pendant is best suited for use at night if you still prefer to use the sword alongside vampire abilities.
You can loot the Corrupted Pendant from Boyaress Xanthe’s charred remains at Howling Keep or every other night in the Svartrau Cathedral (though you’ll have to contend with some Blood Guards there as well)
Fear of the Wilds
Fear of the Wilds is focused buffing on offense, particularly against animals when using a weapon.
You can use it for day and night, but it’s only worth using at night if you aren’t using claws.
You may find it useful on Duelist difficulty because it’s harder to execute correct directional blocks against animals without the interface.
Fear of the Wilds is a commodity legendary item, so you can see it for sale by vendors that sell amulets on certain days when you’re high enough level. The most common source seems to be the Sanzhani.
Mindbrace Amulet
The Mindbrace Amulet solely improves your Activation Charge Restoration from all sources, making it a solid choice for both day and night.
Keep in mind that this amulet is only helpful if it enables you to use abilities more often than you otherwise could.
If your primary limiter is cooldowns or health, this amulet won’t do much for you.
You receive the Mindbrace Amulet for disrupting Xanthe’s Excavation called “Malevolent Presence” on the edge of the Tantari Woods across the river from Howling Keep.
The Mindbrace Amulet is also commodity legendary item, so you can see it for sale by vendors that sell amulets on certain days when you’re high enough level. Vicho seems to be the one most likely to sell it, but it seems to be less common as you level up.
The Relic of St. Dasius
The Relic of St. Dasius boosts the damage and usability of Witchcraft abilities, making it only suitable for daytime use in builds where you use such abilities.
There’s little reason to consider using this amulet at night where it’s functionally equivalent to a blue tier amulet.
The Relic of St. Dasius is a common legendary amulet that you can readily buy from accessories vendors in the late game and find as occasional enemy drop, but it’s guaranteed to be resting on a bench inside the room with the repeated drawings on the wall in Howling Keep in Xanthe’s Fiefdom.
The room you’re looking for is on the second floor opposite the veranda where you find the first lantern and the poor lady making the dresses.
The Shredder
The Shredder is all about buffing claws. If you’re investing skill points in your claws, this is the best nighttime amulet for you by far.
By the same token, this is equivalent to a green tier amulet during the daytime.
The Shredder is a commodity legendary item, so you can see it for sale by vendors that sell amulets on certain days when you’re high enough level. The most common source seems to be Vicho’s shop in Svartrau.
Vicho’s Cross
Vicho’s Cross offers an unfocused smattering of buffs that make it too situational to be worth using.
I don’t think it’s worthwhile to give up access to Vicho’s shop just to get this amulet. It’s more of a consolation prize in to mitigate the drawback of an RP choice.
You can loot Vicho’s Cross from a small altar beside his bed after waiting to watch the sunrise with him at the end of his quest “A Study in Crimson” in Svartrau. Keep in mind that you will have to give up access to his shop permanently if you support his decision.
The quest originates with the nearby Medic vendor a little while after you’ve completed Vicho’s initial quest investigating the murders of his friends.
