There are 5 pieces of legendary armor that don’t belong to a dedicated set in The Blood of Dawnwalker. We’ll show you each one’s stats, what each is good for, and how to get them all!
Ambrus’s Cuirass
Ambrus’s Cuirass is a heavy chestpiece that improves Activation Charge Restoration, reduces attack stamina costs, and Vampiric Ability cooldowns.
It’s better suited to nighttime use, but it’s still equivalent to a purple tier chestpiece during the day, assuming you can make use of the buffs it offers.
It’s hard to justify using this chestpiece long-term unless you plan to use the heavy Ancient Hero’s set during the day as the rest of Vrakhir armor is only medium weight.
You can loot Ambrus’s Cuirass from Boyar Ambrus’s ashen remains at the site of your duel outside of Maragir in Ambrus’s Fiefdom.
Bakir’s Armor
Bakir’s Armour is a medium chestpiece that improves stamina gain from perfect blocks, weapon damage, and reduces stamina costs associated with blocking and dodging.
It’s useful during both day and night, particularly if you don’t use claws at night and on Duelist difficulty.
At night, it’s best to pair this with the Gladius.
You can loot Bakir’s Armor from Boyar Bakir’s ashen remains at the Lunar Manor in The Silts in Xanthe’s Fiefdom (not Bakir’s!) after defeating him in battle.
Coat of Darkened Scales
The Coat of Darkened Scales is a heavy chestpiece that improves vampiric health, max stamina, damage against animals, and passive Activation Charge restoration.
It’s more useful at night but it’s still equivalent to a purple tier test during the day.
You might consider pairing it with Fear of the Wilds if animals are a nuisance.
The Coat of Darkened Scales is a commodity legendary item, so you can see it for sale by vendors that sell armor on certain days when you’re high enough level. It also seems to be a fairly common bit of loot from chests in the late game.
Runic Enchantment
Runic Enchantment trades all armor for the unique effect to heal yourself for a small portion of the damage you deal.
The chestpiece also provides some magic damage reduction and boosts the damage dealt by Witchcraft abilities and all damage against Supernatural enemies.
This chestpiece works best as an alternative to the Ancient Hero’s Armour.
These components make it much better suited to the daytime, but it is equivalent to a purple tier chestpiece at night.
Anca paints the Runic Enchantment onto your body (and it’s treated as a chestpiece in inventory) at the beginning of the quest “Stronger than Achilles” east of St. Tyna’s Grove in Ambrus’s Fiefdom.
Wolven Bracers
Wolven Bracers are medium bracers that improve the damage output of your claws and all damage dealt against animals.
They’re a great alternative to the Vrakhir Bracers as part of Isbrand’s Vrakhir set that also amplifies claw damage.
Since these bracers are so claw-centric, they’re equivalent to bad green tier bracers during the daytime.
You can loot the Wolven bracers from a chest associated with the quest “Of Wolves and Men” that originates at a massacred Soldier Camp along the river on the southern edge of the Rockfalls in Bakir’s Fiefdom.
