What secrets Bioware revealed during the SWTOR June Producer Live Stream.

This article contains all important bulletpoints of Bioware’s monthlly Live stream. The June 2016 edition aired on 3rd (Friday) at 21GMT. Below you will find my notes and a link to the video from the full show.
Hosting the event, as usual, are Eric Musco, Charles Boyd and Ben Irving.
State of the Galaxy
- Chapter 14 is now live. Players get a chance to team up with the new Mandalore the Avanger (Shae Vizla) and journey to Darvannis.
- Bioware will be holding a Cantina at Star Wars Celebration London 2016 – Saturday night… right next door, so not an official part from the real Celebration agian, I guess?!
- Eternal Championship Speedrun contest and the out of control participation. One player completed the event over 300 times in total (~21 per day on average!!!)
- New Bronze items to be introduced with Chapter 15 alongside the Chance cubes. The chances will be either a cube or a bronze item.
- Musco is still proud of his achievement of playing through Fallen Empire chapters 1 to 13 in less than 15 hours – the Musco Live Stream Marathon
Chapter 14 Mandalore’s Revenge
- Charles shares his opinion on the Mandalorian-related chapter 14. You might remember his costume in the last Cantina event. He loved the story of Mandalore’s Revenge.
- In this chapter players have the chance to team up with Shae Vizla and recruit a new companion in the end. Torian (a classic Bounty Hunter companion) makes his return.
- All 3 hosts were excited to present the jem of the latest Revenge Cartel Pack – the Cross Guard imitation lightsaber hilt (which I had the chance to get the dualbladed model from during my Hypercrate opening live show)
- Bioware mentioned a few interesting and memorable community pillars – Nastasiya, Bad Feeling Podcast and Saskaia.
Subscriber Rewards
- The June subscribers (by 1st June) get Eternal Empire Patroller Speeder and Early Access to Chapter 14, which has passed now and the chapter is live for all subscribers
- The July rewards (subscribe by 1st July) include HK-55 Victory Stronghold Decoration and Early access to Chapter 16
Dark Side vs Light Side Event
- At the end of the year as SWTOR celebrates its 5th year, Bioware is planing this whole new event for players called “Dark Side vs Light Side”. The rewards (example given was a new companion, which we’ve never seen before in the game) are going to be light or dark side related. Not much else was revealed.
- According to Bioware’s statistics for the last 6 months the choices in the game were split 51 to 49 in favor of the Light Side.
- The rewards will be structured in tierrs.
- More info will be revealed in ~3 weeks. The target date for it to launch is Chapter 15
Chapter 15 GEMINI Deception
- Chapter 15 launches on 28th June. It’s called “The GEMINI Deception”
- The whole gang will be joining your hero for a massive assault. Devs promised a lot of action and plenty of excitement as the Alliance goes to a daring assault on one of Arcann’s warships ion a bid to seize control of the entire Eternal Fleet.
- Guss returns with this chapter. The ex-jedi con-man will give you a surprising chance to begin his training in the Force (D’OH!?). He will join via an Alliance recruitment mission, according to what the hosts said, so he wont have a part in the next chapter, it seems.
- Charles described Guss Tano as the ordinary silly person. The one character that doesn’t have special abilities, nor is he a superhero or has anything special about his persona. He’s the typical goof of the galaxy (my words, heh, I couldn’t remember exactly what he said)

At the end of the live stream there was a short teaser showing Vaylin and Arcann discussing their plans for action.
