How unlock and fast, efficiently and smoothly complete all SWTOR Black Hole Dailies in under 15 minutes, and what rewards and achievements you can earn!

How to access the Black Hole area

The Black Hole is an isolated area on Corellia, a planet located in the Coreward Worlds sector on the Galaxy Map.

It was released in 2012 and served as an endgame gearing zone. This is no longer the case. Today, The Black Hole, is a regular daily area where you can complete daily and weekly missions to earn rewards, reputation and achievements.

The Black Hole daily area is for players of level 50 or higher. You can visit the zone at any level by traveling to it from the Galaxy Map. If you are too low level, you will not be able to pick up any missions.

You can access the Black Hole by directly traveling to it at any point. Select Corellia on the map and then choose The Black Hole node on the planetary screen.

There are Mission Priority Terminals located conveniently at multiple locations, including near the landing pads of other Daily Areas and on the Fleet. The ones on the Fleet are located next to your ship’s hangar.

To get the full story experience, you should pick up the starter missions for Republic and Empire. They are available on the Fleet.

You can access the Black Hole starter mission as well as all daily and weekly missions in the area if you are high enough level.

I would recommend that you finish Act III from the origin story first, so you can get the full picture of the events on Corellia before you head to the Black Hole.

Republic Starter Mission

The starter mission for Republic players, Corellia Rising, is available from a Holonet terminal, located in the inner circle on the Republic Fleet. It’s right next to the Ilum Story Arc mission NPC.

Empire Starter Mission

The starter mission for Empire players, The Fall of Corellia, is available from an NPC called Sergeant Karloss. He is located on the inner circle on the Empire Fleet.

Interesting fact: Due to a bug, for a long time this mission was not accessible at all. With Game Update 5.9, BioWare brought it back and Imperial players can once again start The Black Hole the way it was intended.

Daily and Weekly Missions List

All of the Black Hole Daily Missions are available to players lvl 50 or higher. There is no other requirement. You can travel to the Black Hole Daily Area via any Priority Transport Terminal (there is one next to each player ship on the Fleet).

The table below is interactive. You can filter, sort and search it. Click on the “plus” symbol to see the description and objectives of each mission.

The battle for the Black Hole is about to shift in the Empire’s favor.

Imperial engineers have discovered that the Black Hole’s hypermatter pipelines can be rerouted. A simple redirection and Councillor Torvix’s hypermatter will flow into Imperial-held territory.

Unfortunately, the rerouting switches lie within radioactive zones. Hazmat troopers guard them, shielded from radiation sickness by anti-rad serum.

Republic Side Mission Locations

Republic players start on the top of the map and work their way south to roughly the middle of the area. There are three locations where you can pick up missions in The Black Hole.

As soon as you arrive, look for the Recon Droid next to the shuttle. Talk to it to pick up one of the daily missions (Criminal Crackdown).

Next, head north and enter the building (Sentinel Outpost). Take the elevator to Level 2. Inside, you will find two terminals. The left one will give you all dailies and the weekly mission.

The right terminal will give you the Heroic 2+ mission, which you should easily be able to complete solo with most Combat Styles in relatively up-to-date gear for their level.

Empire Side Mission Locations

All of the Black Hole Daily Missions are available to players lvl 50 or higher. There is no other requirement. You can travel to the Black Hole Daily Area via any Priority Transport Terminal (there is one next to each player ship on the Fleet).

The first mission is available right next to the shuttle. Talk to the Recon Droid to pick it up.

Next, head into the building (Horizon Outpost) to the south and take the elevator to Level 2. On this level, you will find a terminal and an NPC mission giver. Talk to General Konya to pick up the Heroic +2 mission.

Next, head to the upper platform opposite General Konya and pick up all dailies and the weekly mission from the terminal.

First, make sure you are fully buffed, your gear is repaired and your favorite companion is available.

Below you will find the optimal route for fastest completion that will help you save time when you have these quests on “farm mode”.

Republic Route

Completing 6 Daily Missions is the objective of the Weekly Mission called Black Hole Crisis. Republic players’ missions starting location is at the top of the area map.

The 2 areas are separate and there’s no need to cross over to Empire territory for any of the mission objectives.

The first mission you pick up is right next to your spawn point – Criminal Crackdown. The rest are available on 2 terminals inside the underground bunker, located just nearby.

First you should start in the upper right corner with Criminal Crackdown and Stolen Victory. After you defeat 15 Torvix Forces, a 2nd objective for Criminal Crackdown will open up. To complete it, you can also head to the top left corner, where you will find more containers.

Next enter the instance for Eyes and Ears. If you activate the alarm, it wont spawn a red circle any more, but will spawn a droid and will slow your progress until you kill it (it’s just a silver mob). The video walkthrough will show you the quickest and easiest path around.

After you are done, exit and turn to the right to finish the last objective for Criminal Crackdown – click on the terminal to spawn and defeat a gold mob, then loot its corpse.

The next mission in your pathway is on the right side of the map – Forced Labor. If you have no competition, the quickest approach is to go to the left corridor in the building and free the 5 engineers there.

After that exit the building and jump down, heading to the bottom middle area, where Counter Eco-Terrorism is. For this quest I suggest you to pick up the stim from a corpse of a nearby Torvix mobs and head to the 2nd tank, where if you are fast enough, you can get 3 out of the 4 holes repaired.

The distance to the shore is shortest there. Don’t forget that you can only have 1 stim on you at a time. Once you use one, you have to loot another from the corpses of the dead NPCs. The final quest you are heading is the 2-man Heroic Chasing the Shadow.

Again – it’s quite easy to solo with most classes, though, it doesn’t offer enough of a reward for your time spent if you cannot rush through it. If your gear isn’t good enough or you don’t feel comfortable, better skip it on your regular daily runs.

Following the pathway can grant you successful completion of all Daily Missions in 12-16 minutes. Of course, the timer doesn’t take under consideration grouping or having to wait for re-spawns, which may very well happen on a more populated server.

This video walkthrough shows the exact pathway described in the guide here. I did my best to finish it as quick as possible, but it could be even faster, depending on class (stealth is a plus) and gear.

Empire Side

Completing 6 Daily Missions is the objective of the Weekly Mission called Black Hole Crisis. Empire players’ missions starting location is at the bottom of the area map.

The 2 areas are separate and there’s no need to cross over to Republic territory for any of the mission objectives.

The first mission you pick up is right next to your spawn point – Asset Liquidation. The rest are available on a terminal inside the underground bunker, located just nearby. The Heroic is given to you by an NPC called General Konya.

Start with No Trace Left – it’s right inside the bunker and is very quick and easy to do – there’s no fighting involved. Once you are back outside, go north towards the H2 entrance and start completing the objectives for Control the Battlefield and Asset Liquidation.

Don’t wait for respawns, keep moving forward and enter the instance for The End of Torvix Heroic Mission in the top middle section of the area.  Some of the pulls can be skipped even by non-stealth classes.

The mission is marked as 2-Man Heroic, but is very easy and just about any class with any gear and companion can finish it solo easily, especially if you are lvl 70. When you are done, exit and head for the entrance to the top right of the map.

Alternatively, you can quick travel back to the camp and head again for the top right corner, while doing the objectives for your 2 missions located outside.

Kill whatever is on your pathway for Asset Liquidation and Control the Battlefield and when you reach the entrance to Hypermatter Directive, get in and do the quest. Avoid the red circles as shown in the video walkthrough, linked at the end of this guide.

When you are done with all 5, exit back to the Black Hole area and be sure to finish Asset Liquidation’s 2nd objective (blow up 6 munition cashes) and Control the Battlefield. Blow up the tower next to it to spawn and defeat a mob for the final objective of Asset Liquidation.

Lastly – head into the instance at the bottom right to complete Glow. Similar to Counter Eco-Terrorism for the Republic, here the water is dangerous as well and you will need to kill some mobs and loot a special stim that you can use to protect yourself.

There are 4 terminals you need to find and click – they are all outside the water. Once all missions are complete, quick travel back to the bunker and hand-in all at once.

Following the pathway can grant you successful completion of all Daily Missions in 12-16 minutes. Of course, the timer doesn’t take under consideration grouping or having to wait for re-spawns, which may very well happen on a more populated server.

This wasn’t the quickest run I’ve ever done, because I choose to show you the area through the eyes of my lvl 60 Marauder alt, whose gear is quite low level. I also had to wait for a re-spawn a couple of times. Still, quick enough.

Mission Rewards

Although the Daily Area was created many years ago, the developers have done a good job keeping things updated and organized so that you can always find value in farming the dailies here.

Reputation

The Black Hole does not have any reputation grind attached to the daily or weekly missions. This means that there is no reputation vendor either.

Achievements

There are 24 achievements in The Black Hole. They are all visible, nothing is secret or hidden. Split into three categories, they task you with discovering the entire map and defeating various opponents (player or NPC) multiple times.

You can find the Oricon achievements in your Legacy window:
