How to Unlock the CZ-198 Daily Area
To unlock CZ-198, you’ll need to be at least level 55 and head to the fleet. The starter quest to unlock the Daily Area is called “Titans of Industry” and the droid NPC that gives it to you is in the Galactic Trade Marker section on the Fleet. As you follow this quest line, you’ll eventually gain access to the CZ-198 Daily missions at the terminal.
You can purchase a Quick Travel Legacy Perk to the CZ-198 Daily Area. It requires you to be level 50 or higher and have reached at least Legacy level 5. The perk costs 150 000 Credits or 120 Cartel Coins. This is a per-character unlock, located in the Travel segment in the Character Perks tab.
The CZ-198 Weekly and Daily missions are very easy and since this is a small map, they won’t take much time at all to complete. Here you’ll be combatting Czerka mercenaries, Czerka Droids, and bio-experiments gone wrong, courtesy of the Czerka Corporation.
Republic Missions Walkthroughs
The following missions are available to players within the Republic.
Mission Terminal Location
The terminal to retrieve your Weekly and Daily missions are very close to where you’re dropped off at the shuttle pad.
[WEEKLY] DAILY AREA: CZ-198
Pick up this mission to receive credits, a Noble Decurion Chest, 50 Daily Resource Matrices, and a ”Vigilant” System Datafiles reputation item upon completion of the 5 daily missions on CZ-198. This quest can be completed 3 times a week, after which you’ll need to wait for the weekly quest reset. Once you complete the quests, return to the terminal to turn them in and complete the weekly.
[DAILY] Anti-Toxin Recovery
For this quest, you’ll want to take the elevator that goes down to the Freight Depot. From there you’ll take another elevator in the Freight Depot to the Waste Disposal Area. Once there, you’ll enter into a phase zone.
You’ll encounter a bunch of mutated specimens that you’ll need to clear out so you can complete your objective in peace. Walk towards the forcefield and look up.
Above you, there will be some pipes that you can interact with. Right-click them to destroy them thus taking down the forcefield, clearing the specimens and repairing the Power Junction Box.
Activate the Flow Controls to bring down the second force field to the east. Clear the specimens near the objective and right-click the Czerka Anti-Toxin. An elite enemy will pop up, Project DS-5, one of Czerka’s attempts at creating bio-weapons. It’ll hide underground and bring up smaller tentacles, destroy these to get it back out.
These smaller tentacles can be annoying as they’ll pull you in from a distance, grapple you, and toss you into the air. Overall it’s an easy fight, once you complete it, interact with the Anti-Toxin and the mission will be complete!
[DAILY] Give and Take
This quest is very easy as you just need to head down to the Supply Yard via the Freight Depot elevator. Once you’re there, you just recover Kolto Containers and destroy Biotoxin containers found throughout the map.
As seen in the maps above, the Bio-Toxin containers (orange dots) are found on the lower level while the Kolto Containers are primarily found on the upper level.
Both of these objectives respawn after 10 seconds from being interacted with so you can wait by a pair of either of these objectives and just farm it there until you complete your quest.
[DAILY] Manual Shutdown
This is likely the first mission you’ll be doing as it’ll be the first one you run into for your daily grind.
In the processing department, you’ll find 5 containers with two side panels on each side. Clear the hostile mobs in the area and interact with the panels.
For the most part, this will result in the droid within being destroyed but occasionally it will fail and open up the container. The droid isn’t a threat at all, just destroy it and move on. Once you destroy 5 droids the quest will be complete!
[DAILY] Workforce Reduction
This is your classic “Clear X mobs from the map” sort of quest. Just defeat 35 Czerka NPCs as you’re doing your other quests. You’ll complete the quest upon defeating your 35th enemy.
[HEROIC 2+] Off Message
This is a simple mission that just requires you to defeat a CZ-5X Eradicator Droid in the Supply Yard. There’s nothing special about this droid in terms of combat mechanics so once you defeat it the quest will be complete.
Recommended Order
CZ-198 has a small map with the quest progression being rather linear. This allows the CZ-198 to be completed quickly. The following is the recommended order in which you complete the quests as this is what one would complete naturally since this map is very linear and small.
- Starting from the Republic Landing Zone, head east into the Processing Department. Be sure to defeat Czerka forces in the way to make progress in Workforce Reduction.
- Walk downstairs and complete Manual Shutdown. You can also find a single Kolto container and Anti-toxin container for Give and Take here.
- Take the north or south walkways and get to the elevators and enter the Freight Depot.
- Complete Give and Take followed by Off Message.
- Head to the south elevator into Waste Disposal and complete Anti-Toxin Recovery.
- Complete Daily Area: CZ-198.
