This guide will show you how to complete the daily missions in Voss’s Interpreter’s Retreat! You will also learn how to unlock special achievements unique to Interpreter’s Retreat, available for SWTOR 7.3.

The guide is up-to-date for Patch 7.5b

How to Unlock the Daily Missions in Interpreter’s Retreat

While you are able to visit the Interpreter’s Retreat on Voss at any time after installing Patch 7.3, you won’t be able to do the Daily Missions here until you reach level 80 and gain access to the mission “Old Wounds”.

To learn more about how to unlock this mission and get started in this new area, check out our guide on How To Unlock the Old Wounds Story.

As you make progress in the Old Wounds mission, you’ll unlock missions necessary to complete Old Wounds. These are Joint Efforts and Aiding Efforts, you’ll need to obtain and complete both of these missions to unlock the Daily Missions.

Joint Efforts

You’ll encounter Joint Efforts before Aiding Efforts when completing Old Wounds. Once you obtain it, you’ll eventually gain access to the Work Request Board at the Gormak Work Camp. This board will grant the following missions:

  • [DAILY] A Cantina in Crisis
  • [DAILY] It’s Really Piling Up
  • [DAILY] Security Reboot

Aiding Efforts

After completing Joint Efforts, you’ll later gain access to the mission Aiding Efforts. After completing it, you will gain access Help Wanted: Reconstruction Efforts board at Interpreter’s Retreat Arrivals. This board grants access to the following missions:

Daily Missions

In this section, we’ll go over the daily missions made available after making progress in the “Old Wounds” mission. The Interpreter’s Retreat is not classified by the SWTOR dev team as a Daily Area, but it does feature a number of daily repeatable missions.

[DAILY] A Cantina In Crisis

This mission takes place in an instance at the Gormak Work Camp so you’ll only be able to come here while you have this mission active. I hope you’re ready for a taste of life working in the food industry!

First things first, you have to complete a Hygiene Assessment. Simply walk up to the droid and let it scan you, then wash your hands. Apply the antibacterial soap, thoroughly lather, and remove excess liquid.

Your next task is to consult the Order Board near the grill. Interact with it to find out which order you need to make. You’ll have to look around the Cantina to find the ingredients but since this area is very small, it shouldn’t be too hard. Do this a couple times to begin the next phase of the mission.

After you complete the food orders, you’ll need to sweep up. Look for the green arrows pointing at the floor where litter lies and sweep up the three areas. A clean kitchen is a safe kitchen as tripping on litter can cause nasty accidents when handling cutlery and hot foods!

When you finish sweeping, enjoy a complementary meal for your hard work. Then take out two bags of garbage to the dumpster outside. It will be to your left when you exit and behind the canopy. Once you do this, you will complete the mission!

[DAILY] Easing Anxieties

This mission will have you scan Interpreter’s Retreat Arrivals for any stealth units sent by Czerka. You’ll have the ability to use a Commwave Detector and Stealth Destabilizer when in the appropriate areas.

You’ll need to visit three patrol points in this mission:

  • First Patrol Point: In the first location you’ll need to scan for Spy Devices and then scan for Stealthed Intruders. There’s a good chance that this will spawn enemies for you to fight. Once the area is clear, move onto the second location.
  • Second Patrol Point: In the second location, you’ll need to look around for Listening Devices to destroy them. After you do that, scan the area for Stealthed Intruders and dispatch them should they pop up.

  • Third Patrol Point: At the third patrol point, scan for Spy Devices then scan for Stealthed Intruders. Defeat any Intruders that may pop up

Once you have patrolled the area, the fourth step you’ll need to do is file a Patrol Report. Once you have done this, the mission will be complete!

[DAILY] It’s Really Piling Up

This quest should take no time at all to complete. At the Gormak Work Camp, you’ll need to requisition a Cleanup Droid then pick up the Droid Control Unit. Lead the droid to some debris marked by the green arrows and activate it to have the droid incinerate the debris. Just be sure to not get too close to the beam as you’ll get hurt. Return the droid when you’re done to end the mission.

[DAILY] Let Them Drink

To start this mission, you’ll need to go to the Fountain of Purity in the Voss Wilds.

Collect Sacred Water from the fountain and follow the path on your map. You’ll be led back to the Interpreter’s Retreat Arrival where you’ll need to deliver the Sacret Water to three Ritual Basins. These will be pointed out by green arrows, fill them to end the mission.

[DAILY] Ongoing Threats

You can easily access Ongoing Threats by fast travelling to the Shrine of Contemplation after obtaining the mission. Once you’re there, go deeper into the shrine and look into the five locations marked on your map. Defeat any enemies that appear and repeat this until all areas are secured to end the mission.

[DAILY] Security Reboot

For Security Reboot, you’ll need to repair security tech and scout the area at the Gormak Work Camp. Start by collecting the tools under the canopy near the dumpster.

The first phase of this mission will have you assisting with repairs. Repair three Damaged Sensors and reboot three Security Monitors. These are very easy to find as they’re close together and are glowing blue as seen in the image below.

Next you’ll need to check the perimeter security at three locations. Scan the area with the “Perimeter Scan” option that pops up when you’re in the mission area. Defeat any enemies that come up then Report Your Findings at the Security Terminal near the Mission Board. After you have done this, the mission will be complete.

These missions are short and sweet so it shouldn’t be too hard to finish them in a timely manner. This is the order I recommend for completing these as seamlessly as possible.

  1. Complete Easing Anxieties at the Interpreter’s Retreat Arrivals.
  2. Go to the Fountain of Purity to start and complete Let Them Drink.
  3. Fast Travel to the Shrine of Contemplation to complete Ongoing Threats.
  4. Fast Travel to the Gormak Work Camp and complete It’s Really Piling Up and Security Reboot at the same time.
  5. Complete A Cantina in Crisis as your last daily mission at Interpreter’s Retreat.

Achievements

Many of the achievements for Interpreter’s Retreat are very basic such as “Defeat X amount of enemies” or “Complete X amount of repeatable missions”. Though there are a good amount of Hidden Achievements which we’ll be going over.

He’s Just a Little Guy

To get this achievement, you’ll need to find the Very Tiny Mawvorr. He’s not too hard to find and you’ll be able to find him at the Interpreter’s Retreat Arrivals.

Can I Really Keep Him?

To complete this achievement, you’ll need to feed the Very Tiny Mawvorr 15 times. You can feed it once per day so this can take 15 days to complete. To feed the Very Tiny Mawvorr, you’ll need three ingredients:

  • Powerful Nutrients
  • Peppery Slimegourd
  • Discarded Vorantisteak

The Specialty Nutrient Vendor is found at the Interpreter’s Retreat Arrivals near the Mission Board. She sells Powerful Nutrients for 3,000 Tech Fragments plus 1 million credits. This makes this particular achievement rather expensive to complete. You’ll only need one for each day you feed the Very Tiny Mawvorr.

Can I Really Keep Him? Achievement

The Peppery Slimegourds can be found throughout the map. Simply harvest one when you find one to add it to your inventory. If we are missing a Peppery Slimegourd location on the following map, let us know the coordinates in the comments!

For the Discarded Vorantisteak, you’ll need to be in the Cantina that’s part of the A Cantina in Crisis daily mission. Look around the floor for a slab of meat to find the Discarded Vorantisteak. Its precise location can vary but it’ll be on the floor.

Once you have all three ingredients, return to the Very Tiny Mawvorr and use the temporary ability to feed it. Do this for a total of 15 times to have it as a pet!

Rest and Restoration

To complete this achievement, you’ll need to find an Abandoned To-Go Order and some Fermented Rhudik Tea. The Fermented Rhudik Tea can be found in several locations at the Interpreter’s Retreat Arrivals. If a Tea spawn location is missing on the map, please provide the coordinates in the comments!

To get the Abandoned To-Go Order, you’ll need to go into the cantina that’s part of the A Cantina In Crisis mission. Look for the metal dome inside the cantina and interact with it to pick up the Abandoned To-Go Order. Its location will vary so be sure to check the tables and countertops for it.

Rest and Restoration abandoned order

Once you have both items, right click one of them in your inventory to merge them into the item, “A Lovely Picnic”. Go to the Shrine of Contemplation and go north of the entrance.

You’ll find a gold border enemy on a patio with some benches. Defeat it and use the Lovely Picnic item at this location. Enjoy the scenery, the food, and the hidden achievement!

Completing this achievement will allow you to purchase the Tranquil Voss Fountain from the Specialty Nutrient Vendor for 300 Tech Fragments and 90,000 credits.

Contemplation Mastery

To get this achievement, you’ll need to visit three areas where you gain the temporary ability to contemplate in that area.

Contemplation: Focus

To contemplate Focus, you’ll need to go to the Shrine of Contemplation and go south towards a waterfall. It’s a bit off the map but if you get close enough to the waterfall, you’ll be able to contemplate there. Contemplating here grants the Contemplation: Focus Achievement.

Contemplation: Illumination

Go to the Northwest corner of the Shrine of Contemplation to Contemplate Illumination. There will be a flame above a table where you can contemplate and gain the Contemplate: Illumination Achievement.

Contemplation: Silence

Outside the Shrine of Silence, you’ll be able to contemplate Silence. Do this at the staircase to obtain the Contemplation: Silence Achievement.

Once you have gained the Contemplation Mastery Achievement, you’ll also gain access to the Voss Park Bench. You can purchase it from the Specialty Nutrient Vendor at the Interpreter’s Retreat for 250 Tech Fragments and 60,000 credits. You’ll also get the Legacy Title “Contemplative” when you get this achievement as well!

Curse You, Czerka Mercs!

To get this achievement, you’ll need to be ambushed by Czerka Operatives and defeat 15 of them. Check the map below for possible locations of Czerka Infiltrators.

If you’ve encountered a Czerka Infiltrator in an area not on this map, please share the coordinates in the comments so we can add the location upon confirmation!

Champion Beasts

These achievements are gained by defeating each of these Champion Beasts five times. While you should be able to solo these with a companion, it might be best to bring a friend to help make the process more smooth.

More Than A Rustle

You’ll need to defeat Susurrus five times, they can be found near the Shrine of Silence Entrance.

Big Grumch Crunch

Defeat Big Grumch five times, they’re in the far east of the Voss Wilds.

Menace Menacer

Defeat the Vagrant Shaclaw five times, find them south of the Shrine of Contemplation.
