Star Wars Zero Company releases on August 27, 2026 for PS5, Xbox, and PC. It comes in a Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s edition. It’s also has a pre-order bonus.
Quick Overview
Star Wars Zero Company is a turn-based tactics game with heavy RPG elements. Developed by Bit Reactor, a studio with several senior members who worked on the mythical XCOM saga.
This game presents a gritty story set in the twilight of the Clone Wars era. You’ll follow Hawks, a former captain in the Grand Army of the Republic now leader of Zero Company. Zero Company is an elite mercenary unit sent to deal with a Separatist-aligned threat.
Pre-Order Bonus
If you pre-order any edition of the game you’ll get the Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack.
This pack unlocks the R3 droid variant, as well as a set of “Crystalline” astromech head cosmetics for the R4 and R5 variants and the BR-1 droid. The BR-1 droid was created exclusively for Star Wars Zero Company.
Standard Edition

Deluxe Edition
This is a Digital-Only edition that goes for $ 69.99 on Xbox and PS5, $59.99 on the EA app and has localized prices on Steam and the Epic Games Store that go from $31 to $77 depending on your region.

Is Star Wars Zero Company on EA Play?
If you have an EA Play subscription, you can get a 10% discount on digital buys as long as you buy the game on the same platform your subscription is on.
The standard version of EA Play gives you access to Game Trials, which let you test a game for up to 10 hours.
The PC exclusive EA Play Pro gives you unlimited access to new releases. As of the time of writing this guide there is no explicit confirmation that Star Wars Zero Company will be available through EA Play.
The standard version of EA Play has a price of $5.99 a month while EA Play Pro has a price of $16.99 a month.
Which Star Wars Zero Company Edition to choose?
I’ll start by getting the obvious out of the way. $300 + Shipping is egregious even for a Collector’s Edition. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend anyone buying this edition unless you are an extremely dedicated Star Wars fan and you can comfortably make this investment. Keep in mind you won’t see your items for around a year.
What about between a Standard and Deluxe edition then?
Star Wars is such a wide and complex universe and maybe your favorite faction or aesthetic is featured as part of a Cosmetic Pack.
If that’s your case and can afford the extra $10, I think it is absolutely worth it to go for the Deluxe Edition. I am personally very excited about the Grand Army of the Republic Cosmetic Pack to get all the Clone customizations.
If you just want to enjoy a very well-made Star Wars strategy game without going overboard, then the Standard Edition is right for you.
The Crystalline Astromech Cosmetic Pack (available as a pre-order gift) is amazing and will let you make a full squad of very good-looking droids.
