Rodolfo “Fol” Rios is passionate about all forms of storytelling, his favorites being video games and books. He is a fan of all things fantasy and sci-fi. His favorite video game genres are SRPGs, JRPGs, and all kinds of indie games, especially metroidvanias. He’s a computer systems engineer who enjoys reading and watching documentaries whenever he’s not playing.

Growing up, the youngest of three brothers, his love for gaming came from watching his older brothers play on the Nintendo 64 and occasionally playing with them Super Smash Bros and Mario Party. A couple of all-time favorite games that hold a special place in his heart to this day are Pokemon Emerald and Rogue Galaxy, because these were the first games he could beat without any help.

He really enjoys competitive games such as MOBAs and TCGs, but gave up playing League of Legends after 10 years because, in the words of Galen Erso, “It’s a peaceful life”. Nowadays, the indie scene is where most of his attention lies, since that’s where he feels he can find the most original and underrated gems.
