Assassin Contracts in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced are side quests you can complete easily and quickly to earn money and cool gear.
What Are Assassin Contracts?
These are very straightforward Side Quests where your objective is to assassinate a target. Almost every game in the franchise has a version of Assassin Contracts. And Black Flag Resynced is no exception.
The pigeon coop specifically can be found in Ezio’s Assassin’s Creed trilogy and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag.
In older games they had heavier story implications. In Black Flag Resynced, Edward is not really an assassin for most of the game so it’s more like mercenary work.
How To Unlock and Complete Assassin Contracts?
Assassin Contracts become available to you after completing the Overrun and Outnumbered Main Quest. The pigeon coop locations are marked on your map when you interact with the Viewpoints.
After that you’ll be able to accept these contracts by interacting with pigeon coops located in every small town and big city in the game.
After accepting an Assassin Contract you can track it on your map. This will show you a general area where you have to go and locate your target.
There’s no failure for not doing it stealthily but you could miss out on some extra money.
Bonus Objectives List
On each contract you’ll be given a single Bonus Objective that tasks you to perform the assassination in one of seven specific ways:
- Double assassinate the targets.
- Kill the target with an explosive.
- Assassinate the target from a hiding spot.
- Assassinate the target from a stalking zone.
- Assassinate the target from above.
- Assassinate the target while hanging from a ledge.
- Hang the target with the rope dart.
Rewards for Completing Assassin Contracts
Completing any contract will reward you with 1500 Reales. If you manage to perform the Bonus Objective you’ll earn an additional 500 Reales. This makes it one of the best ways to earn money in the early game.
There are 30 different contracts you can take on as you explore the map. Once you complete 15 you’ll be rewarded with the Stealth Outfit and the Hidden Ones Sigil Legendary Trinket which increases enemies’ detection time while crouching.
Once you complete all 30 contracts you’ll receive the Legendary Spring-Steel Swords which grant the very cool-sounding ability to parry gunshots.
