This guide will show you where to find all the character Portraits required to obtain the Legendary Haytham Kenway’s Overcoat in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Portrait Locations
There are a total of 11 character portraits in Black Flag Resynced. While the task of collecting portraits is simple, it is one of the most time-consuming activities in the game.
That’s because in order to unlock all 11 locations, you need to complete the main story and complete the following sidequests: Captain Stede Bonnet, Blackbeard’s Treasure, and A World without Gold. If you miss any, you can always return later as long as you meet the quest requirements.
Julien Du Casse
You can find Du Casse’s portrait during the main quest “A Single Madman“. It is in the entrance hall of the Manor in Great Inagua. Coordinates: 827,443.

Lauren Prins
This one is available in Kingston. Specifically, on Prins’ Manor. You can get it during or after completing the main quest “Unmanned“. Coordinates: 594,174.

Commodore Chamberlaine
Chamberlaine’s portrait is located on the second floor of Chamberlaine’s house, in Nassau. It is available after the main quest “Commodore Eighty-Sixed“. Coordinates: 589,757.

Blackbeard
In order to get Blackbeard’s portrait, you need to complete the side quest “Blackbeard’s Treasure“, which becomes available after the main quest “Do Not Go Gently“. This is the only chest that you won’t see physically at least until you complete the quest. It will be added to your inventory automatically.

Stede Bonnet
You can only get Stede Bonnet’s portrait as a reward for completing the side quest, “Captain Stede Bonnet“. This is available after the main quest “Marooned“.

Ben Hornigold
Hornigold’s portrait is only obtainable after destroying Hornigold’s ship during the main quest “Murder and Mayhem“. The portrait is inside Hornigold’s destroyed ship. Specifically, near the captain’s cabin. Coordinates: 191,223.

Robert Maynard
Maynard’s Portrait is found at the entrance of Port Royal’s church. Coordinates: 601,134. However, you must first complete the new quest “A World Without Gold“. A World Without Gold is unlocked after completing the main quest “Everything is Permitted“.

Woodes Rogers
Woodes Rogers’ portrait is located at his house in Kingston. It’s hanging in the right hallway. Coordinates: 618,171. It will be there only after completing the main quest “A Governor No Longer“.

Bartholomew Roberts
Robert’s portrait is on Principe, but only after completing the main quest “Royal Misfortune“. It is on the northern side, inside a tent. Coordinates: 113,20. Please note that you have to be in Principe for these coordinates to show you the right place.

Laureano de Torres
Torres’ portrait is available after unlocking the main quest “Tainted Blood“. It is located on the northeast side of the fort, in Havana. You can only enter this room via a window that faces the outer side of the fort. Head up to the edge of the fort. From there, go over to the northern turret where you’ll see a small wood plank on its side. Coordinates: 224,595.

El Tiburón
Just like Torres’, El Tiburón’s portrait can be found after unlocking the main quest “Tainted Blood“. This one is in a room inside the fort located on the northwest side of Havana. Coordinates: 204,608.

Completing “The Memory of My Enemy” achievement
Now that you have completed the task of getting all portraits, all you have to do now is mount all 11 portraits in your Manor at Great Inagua. Du Casse’s portrait is the only one that is separated from the rest. That’s because its place is in the main bedroom.

Hanging all 11 portraits automatically grants you “The Memory of My Enemy” achievement.

You also receive Kenway’s Overcoat and a treasure map that leads to a chest on the shores of Great Inagua. This chest contains the Legendary Cutlass “The Fortune”.
