Pistols are the most trustworthy ranged weapon you have in Black Flag Resynced. They can take out enemies at short, medium, and long ranges with great precision. The best thing is that you can upgrade the Ammo Pouch and Holster to make them even more reliable.
It’s important to point out that only Legendary Pistols have perks. Perks are unique effects that enhance a specific playstyle. I suggest that you read all of them and decide which one fits you.

Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks

The Dark Animus Corsair Flintlocks are the fifth reward obtained from the Eye in the Dark Project. To progress through this project, you need to eliminate anomalies. These anomalies are reset twice per week.
Darkworker’s Pistols

The Darkworker’s Pistols are included in the Master Assassin Bundle that is obtainable by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of the game or the Character Pack.
Gargoyle’s Breath

To get Gargoyle’s Breath, you need to collect all 6 Weathered Map Pieces located in Great Inagua, Jiguey, Annoto Bay, Petite Caverne, San Juan, and Ambergris Key. Once you have all of them, head to coordinates 914,124 at Mystery Island. The chest contains Gargoyle’s Breath and the Persian Scimitar swords.
Golden Flintlock Pistols

You can purchase the Golden Flintlock Pistols from the General Store for 18,000 Reales. It will be available once you upgrade it to Level 3.

Peaceful Means can be purchased from the Treasure Dealer in Great Inagua. Like other items from this vendor, you can’t use money. Instead, you buy items in exchange for Wildlife Products and Trading Goods. For these pistols specifically, he asks for Capuchin Monkey Pelt x3, Iguana Leather x4, and Rum Barrel x20.
Rustic Flintlocks
