The Jackdaw, Edward Kenway’s reliable ship, is fully customizable in Black Flag Resynced. There are a total of 5 physical aspects of the Jackdaw that you can customize: Sails, Hull, Wheel, Figurehead, and Crew Attire.
None of these customizations affect gameplay. They’re just to make the Jackdaw look as cool as possible.

Black Skull Sails

You receive the Black Skull Sails after completing every Naval Contract.
Ebon Wind Sail Set
Take flight beneath black sails adorned with a golden bird.

The Ebon Wind Sail Set is included in the Master Assassin Bundle that is obtainable by purchasing the Deluxe Edition of the game or the Naval Pack.

El Impoluto Sails
A set of black sails adorned with red and white stripes. Taken from El Impoluto.

You receive this after defeating the Legendary Ship El Impoluto. The coordinates are 115, 842.

Elite Sails
A set of sails bearing the symbol of an elite ship.

To obtain the Elite Sails, you first need to obtain its Design Plan with the help of a treasure map, and then exchange the plan plus other trade goods with the Harbourmaster.
You’ll find the Elite Sail’s Treasure Map on Great Inagua. Go to the western side of the island and look for a line of trees and tree trunks you can hop along. This will lead you to a hidden cave above a ledge where you’ll find the skeleton with a map. The coordinates are 814, 447.


Once you have the map, go to southwest Nassau. The coordinates are 586, 755. The treasure will be beneath a massive rock jutting out of the earth like Pride Rock.


You can now go to the harbourmaster and exchange the plan, along with 2,800 Reales and 450 Cloth for these sails.
Gilt Lined Sails
A striking set of sails that are gilded in gold.

Collect 3 Tattered Map Pieces, and the Treasure Dealer can restore them in exchange for 300 Sugar and 500 Reales.
The Restored Tattered Map contains coordinates to Florida at the northeast part of Dry Tortuga. The coordinates are 381,803. The buried chest contains the Elite Wheel, Gilt Lined Sails, and the Sleek Crew Attire.


HMS Fearless Sails
The stark black and white sails of the legendary twin ships, HMS Fearless and Royal Sovereign.

These sails are a reward for defeating the Legendary Ships HMS Fearless and Royal Sovereign. The coordinates are 811, 858.

HMS Prince Sails
A set of rippling sails that once belonged to HMS Prince.

You earn this cosmetic item as a reward for defeating the Legendary Ship HMS Prince. The coordinates are 854,55.

La Dama Negra Sails
The striking, bold sails of La Dama Negra.

You will get these sails as a reward for defeating the Legendary Ship La Dama Negra. The coordinates are 240,72.

Obsidian Sails
The darkest of sails for the blackest of hearts.

Obtain 10 Yellowed Map Pieces and exchange them with the Treasure Dealer for 100 Aloe and 500 Reales. He will give you the Restored Yellowed Map in exchange.
This Treasure Map will point you towards the northern side of Black Island in Gibara. The coordinates are 915,617. The buried chest contains the Obsidian Sails, the Helm of the Night Owl legendary ship vanity, and the sea shanty “The Wellerman”.

The Altaïr’s Sails
A set of sails modeled after Altaïr ibn-La’ Ahad’s image.

You can find The Altaïr’s Sails inside a chest in Great Inagua. The coordinates are 826, 435.


The Ezio’s Sails
A set of sails modeled after Ezio Auditore Da Firenze’s image.

The Ezio’s Sails are inside a chest that’s located under the Manor in Great Inagua. The coordinates are 824,444.


Crimson Storm Sails
Deep red sails, bearing the scars of many battles. Striking and bold, they make a commanding statement on the open sea while withstanding the rigors of naval combat.

The Crimson Storm Sails are obtainable by redeeming the code ACBF-PHGN-SYBJ-RTRF on the Ubisoft page.
Dark Animus Corsair Sails
Raise high the colors.

The Dark Animus Corsair Sails are one of the few cosmetic items that can’t be obtained directly in Black Flag Resynced. Instead, you need to unlock the fifth reward from the Riptides Project in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Death Vessel Sails
A set of sails that once belonged to the legendary Death Vessel.

You can purchase the Death Vessel Sails from the Harbourmaster for 2,200 Reales and 350 Cloth. You need to upgrade the shop to Tier II to unlock this item.

Diamond Sails
A set of sails bearing diamonds patterns, praised for their beauty.

You can purchase the Diamond Sails from the Harbourmaster for 1,200 Reales and 150 Cloth. You need to upgrade the shop to Tier II to unlock this item.
Flower Sails
A set of sails with a white floral pattern.

You get the Flower Sails during the main quest “The Forts“.

Gilded Sails
A set of blue sails with gold patterns.

You can purchase the Gilded Sails from the Harbourmaster for 1,700 Reales and 250 Cloth. You need to upgrade the shop to Tier II to unlock this item.
Gray Sails
A set of gray canvas sails.

The Gray Sails are a reward for capturing Fort Cabo de Cruz. The coordinates are 537, 362.


Leather Sails
A set of leather sails.

The Leather Sails are a reward for capturing Fort Conttoyor. The Coordinates are 76, 523.


Queen Anne’s Revenge Sails
A set of sails that belonged to Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge.

You get the Queen Anne’s Revenge Sails after completing the brand new questline “A World Without Gold”.

Sails torn by shot and wind, yet still holding fast. They tell the story of a ship that has weathered countless battles and refused to sink.

This item can be bought from the Animus Exchange for 600 keys.

Spilt Blood Sails
A set of spilt blood sails. It’s right there in the name.

The Spilt Blood Sails are a reward for capturing Fort Castillo de Jagua.


Storm’s End Sails
The color of sun and sky on the bright water.

This item can be bought from the Animus Exchange for 600 keys.

The Aquila’s Sails
A set of sails that would later propel Connor’s ship, the Aquila.

You receive The Aquila Sails after collecting 25 Art Pieces for the Art Lover quest.

The Benjamin’s Sails
A set of sails that once propelled Hornigold’s ship, the Benjamin.

The Benjamin’s Sails are the reward you receive after killing Benjamin Hornigold during the main quest “Murder and Mayhem“.

The Black Ship’s Sails
A set of sails that once propelled the Black Ship.

You can find The Black Ship’s Sails inside a chest on Black Island. The coordinates are 910,612.


The Revenge’s Sails
A set of sails that once propelled Stede Bonnet’s ship, the Revenge.

You can find The Revenge’s Sails inside an underwater chest on Mystery Island. The coordinates are 910,122.


The Royal Fortune’s Sails
A set of sails that once propelled Black Bart’s ship, the Royal Fortune.

The Royal Fortune’s Sails are a reward for completing the main quest “Royal Misfortune“.

Crimson Sails
A set of red canvas sails.

The Crimson Sails can be found inside a chest on Cat Island. The coordinates are 706, 665.


Red Stripped Sails
A set of white canvas sails adorned with red stripes.

You can purchase the Red Stripped Sails from the Harbourmaster for 800 Reales and 75 Cloth. Since this is of Common Rarity, you don’t need to upgrade the Harbourmaster.
Tattered Sails
A set of tattered sails.

The Tattered Sails are inside an underwater chest on Abaco Island. The coordinates are 587,813.


White Sails
A set of clean, white canvas sails.

The White Sails are the default sails for the Jackdaw.
