This guide will help you decide which Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Edition is for you. Check out what each one of them has to offer and at what price point.

Quick Overview

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S | X, and PC (Ubisoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store) on July 9, 2026.

This remake reimagines the 2013 classic with new visuals, expanded story content and a modernized combat system, letting us experience Edward Kenway’s tale of rising from a greedy pirate to a true Assassin once again.

The game is available for pre-order in three different editions:

  • Standard Edition
  • Deluxe Edition
  • Collectors Edition

Standard Edition

You can pre-order the Standard Edition for $ 59.99. It includes a copy of the base game and the pre-order Bonus Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack, which includes the Crimson Costume, Crimson Sword, and Crimson Pistol.

Deluxe Edition

This is a digital-only edition that goes for $ 69.99. It includes the previously mentioned Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack as well as the Master Assassin Naval Pack and Master Assassin Character Pack. Let’s break down what each of these packs includes:

Master Assassin Naval Pack

  • Black & Gold Crew Attire
  • Gold Tom, Ship’s Pet
  • Wheel of Doom
  • Buried Treasure Hull Trim
  • Bold-as-Gold Figurehead
  • Ebon Wind Sail Set

This set of cosmetics lets you outfit your ship “the Jackdaw” in an imposing black and gold color scheme.

Master Assassin Character Pack

  • Master Assassin Robes
  • Brass Bird Trinket
  • Lightserver’s Blade
  • Darkworker’s Pistol

Ubisoft+ Option

Ubisoft+ is Ubisoft’s subscription service that gives you access to a wide array of their games for $ 18 a month.

Assassins Creed Black Flag Resynced Deluxe edition will be available on day 1 through this service. Keep in mind that when you unsubscribe from Ubisoft+, you’ll no longer have access to the game or any of its digital content.

Collector’s Edition

For the most avid fans of the franchise, there’s the Collector’s Edition at the $ 199.99 price point, including everything previously mentioned on the Deluxe Edition, as well as a treasure trove of physical goodies. Check them out in the gallery below:

For the Collector’s Edition, it’s important to note that, as of the time of writing this guide, it’s no longer available for pre-order through official channels, so if you’re looking to get one, it will likely have to be through resellers at a higher price.

Which Edition Should You Choose

If you want to add the game to your collection permanently but don’t care for acquiring any extra digital or physical content, then the Standard Edition is for you.

If you can afford to spend a little extra and you want to get as much content as possible, whether it’s for the gameplay perks tied to gear or because you want your ship’s pet to look amazing, be sure to grab the Deluxe Edition.

If you’re convinced you can finish the game in less than a month and won’t come back to it, or if you’re already a Ubisoft+ subscriber, getting the digital Deluxe Edition through this means is your best bet to spend as little money as possible.

Now, for the most hardcore fans, taking into account that the Collector’s Edition is already out of stock, if you’re still willing to spend the extra money to acquire those physical collectibles, then by all means look for a copy of this edition; just be careful about scams and be prepared to pay extra.
