This guide will show you where to find the lowest point on the map to unlock the Davy Jones’ Locker achievement in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Find the Black Trench
To unlock this achievement, you must head to The Black Trench. This shipwreck site is in Castillo de Jagua, southwest of Pinos Isle, on the west side of the map.
How to get the achievement
After swimming out of the diving bell, you will see two paths. Take the right one; there’s a white piece of cloth hanging from what’s left of a ship.
A shark will appear when you’re close to said piece of cloth. This shark will be swimming around most of this area; keep your eyes open and hide when you spot it.
Continue in a straight line and then turn left; you will see two barrels.
Use either barrel to restore your oxygen; you are halfway there, and your oxygen is probably still at a decent level. However, this is the last point where you’ll find a place to recover oxygen.
The second barrel is on the edge of the trench. You must head down and to the right side. It looks like an endless abyss, but soon you will notice that it’s not the case.
After some meters, you’ll see a diving bell lying on the ocean floor. This is where you’ll get the achievement.
Swim as close to the floor as possible, next to the diving bell. This should unlock the Davy Jones’ Locker achievement. Use the same route to return to the diving bell; keep in mind the shark is still around.
