This guide will show you how to get the elusive Explorer Outfit in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Explorer Outfit Appearance
The Explorer outfit was one of the most desired in the original game because it was only awarded during a limited-time community challenge.
Many players were unable to get it. Its red and white color combination makes it the closest thing we have to the classic Assassin look.
People were aware of its existence in-game due to the game files, but we only learned about its actual location from a post by a Reddit user Holliday.
Where to find the Explorer Outfit
It’s easy to get it once you get to the right spot, but without the exact location, you could spend many minutes wandering. Especially at night, when visibility is reduced considerably. It doesn’t help that underwater exploration feels very trippy.
You must head to the cove on the far west side of the map, in Chinchorro. Place yourself on coordinates 28,291. The chest isn’t highlighted by using Observe like normal chests.
Now that you are in the right spot, make sure that Edward is facing north. Proceed to dive down. Go in a straight line for a few meters. You should be able to see the chest after a few seconds.
Inside the chest, you will find both the Explorer Outfit and the Aveline Figurehead.
