Update 1.0.4 is the first update for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. It includes multiple quality of life changes, bug fixes, and the robes of two of the most iconic characters of the Assassin’s Creed Franchise.
Update Size and Availability
Update 1.0.4 for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was released on July 15, 2026. The patch sizes for the various platforms are as follows:
- Xbox Series X|S: 15.35 GB
- PlayStation®5: 2.44 GB
- PC: 3.71 GB
- Steam: 2.7 GB
Ezio and Altaïr’s Robes are available
This isn’t mentioned in the patch notes, but both Ezio’s and Altaïr’s robes are now available in the game. For better or worse, these iconic outfits don’t require you to do a specific quest. All you have to do is simply purchase them from the Exchange for 3000 Keys each.

More sunny days and clear skies
The weather system is being changed so that rain and storms aren’t as frequent. Instead, the game will increase the proportion of clear skies and sunny days. I don’t mind this change when playing on the ground, but I’m worried that we won’t get that many epic naval battles in the middle of pouring rain, waterspouts, and thunderstorms.

While the patch notes don’t specify what the new ratio of rain vs sun is, I tried advancing time 10 times just to see what happened. It became cloudy twice, with rain happening only once.
On the bright side, it will be pleasant for players who just want to spend some time navigating the seas and enjoying the view.
No more save/load issues
Save and Load issues are supposedly being fixed in this patch. It’s strange that they don’t mention the specific problems being solved since there can be more than one.
My only experience with this was that two of my saves were corrupted during our early access. However, I have not experienced any similar or related problems since release day.
Say goodbye to the double jump “feature”
Players were able to perform a double jump after doing a back eject with the Advanced Parkour option turned ON. We didn’t mention this in any of our beginner guides due to the fact that it was clearly an unintended interaction and would be removed soon. Well, that time has come, and this “feature” is being removed.
Cutscenes are no longer locked
Cutscenes on PC were locked at 30 FPS when the graphics settings were set to Custom. This is no longer the case.
