Daily Areas and Daily Missions in SWTOR bring a unique (mostly) solo experience to the table. Dailies can fill up your spare time in the game, but for some players this turns out to be the main content to enjoy on regular basis.
Some of the Daily Areas in SWTOR are connected to Recurring Events. Others are directly related and involved in the main story progression.
There are generally two main types of Daily Areas in SWTOR: regular Daily Areas and Bonus Series repeatable missions.
There are two types of Events in SWTOR that also offer repeatable daily and weekly missions: Recurring Events (monthly or bimonthly) and Seasonal Events. Broadsword announces the schedule for upcoming in-game events in the beginning of each month.
And then we have what I like to call “passive” repeatable missions. They grant you rewards for completing a number of PvP Warzones, Flashpoints, Operations and so on. Each of the Daily Areas and Events also feature “passive” repeatable missions. They are detailed in each individual guide linked below.
Daily Areas
The regular Daily Areas are the locations where you can usually earn reputation and unique rewards by completing a mini story arc and then farm repeatable daily and weekly missions.
They often include Heroic Missions, with some offering a tough group challenge like a lair boss or a world boss. The Daily Areas are almost always cut off from the rest of the world in a separate location where you arrive by ship or shuttle.
Different missions may have different cooldown times and different number of repeats allowed in a certain amount of time – a day or a week. The Daily Areas offer dailies and weeklies that are accessible all the time after you have unlocked them.
Look for mission terminals, where you will find one or several missions that just task you to complete a number of dailies or weeklies to grab an additional reward. This is what I call a “passive mission”.

Planetary Bonus Series
The Planetary Bonus Series are packs of main and optional quests that unlock after you reach a certain point in your character’s main story progression.
Those missions have little to offer in terms of rewards, but are they provide a deeper dive into the lore. The most you usually get out of them is XP and Conquest XP.
Not every planet in SWTOR offers a Bonus Series of missions that unlock after you complete the main story on that planet. The ones that do offer Bonus Series, don’t always unlock right after you complete the story ark of this planet.
Sometimes they become available later and also require you to be a higher level to play through them. Once unlocked, you can repeat those missions indefinitely, they are available all the time.

Recurring Events
Recurring events return on regular basis either each month or every other month. They offer a mini story arc and reputation for you to grind for.
There are usually event vendors where you can trade unique currencies for rewards if you have enough reputation with the related faction(s). You can earn reputation by completing dailies and weeklies related and exclusive to the event, while it’s running.
Usually, the Recurring events last for a week starting and ending on Tuesday. In some rare cases the developers may extend the duration of an event, which is always communicated beforehand.

Seasonal Events
The Seasonal Events in SWTOR appear usually once every year. The developers have created one unique event for each of the seasons.
The Seasonal Events are not too different from the Recurring Events, though they last longer and offer more and unique rewards as well as a bit bigger story. A typical duration of a Seasonal Event is 3 to 5 weeks.
