Star Wars: The Old Republic is offering almost all of the Cartel Marked Items ever released in packs or as stand-alone in a massive sale for a limited time. Let’s take a look!
Bioware announced the biggest Cartel Market sale a while ago and everybody was wondering what will be included, how expensive the items will be, will the Legacy Unlocks prices be changed because of that sale event.
Well, the sale is on since yesterday (3rd of April) and over 550 new and old items are now available as a single purchase. No need to get tons of loot boxes if you only ever wanted one (or two, or twenty?) items. You have a choice from 490 new items that have never before been offered as a stand-alone purchase, in addition to over 90 returning items.
The items vary from price to type and category. There are pets, combat companions, emotes, armor sets, weapons, flairs, dye modules, lightsaber color crystals and more.
Prices for the armor sets are generally in the range of 500-1440 CC, flairs go for about 1000 CC, lightsaber color crystals are set between 300 and 500 CC, mounts and pets are anywhere from 500 to 1500 CC with a few exceptions that may go way north from these numbers, of course.
A word of caution! Players have reported the same items available at two different prices. Always check and double check the availability of the items you are planning to buy. Bioware is currently investigating and looking to fix this as soon as possible.
When it comes to decorations, though, it seems there might be some issues, but here is what the most recent response from the Dev team is regarding the availability of such items for direct purchase:
We definitely share your interest in getting more decos on the CM! I will spare you the details but simply put, most decos weren’t originally built in a way that we can easily place them on the market. It is our goal to have all CM decos be available on the market in some form (whether individually or in a bundle) at some point in the future. Hopefully sooner than later, we just couldn’t get them ready in time for this sale.
If there has ever been something you wanted to own desperately, but were unlucky to get from Loot Crates, now may be your chance. Be careful, though. Many of these items are expensive to get with “real life credits” and, as can be expected, a lot of them will likely flood the GTN In-Game soon enough with much more affordable prices in… regular credits.
This massive sale event will last until 17th of April with almost every item from the Cartel Market being made available for a direct purchase.
