SWTOR Galactic Season 9: Guide and Rewards List

SWTOR Galactic Season 9 “Flashpoint Resurgence” started with the release of Update 7.7.1. Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about it!

The Galactic Seasons is a level-based seasonal in-game system in SWTOR. You can actively earn unique and exclusive rewards by completing specific Daily and Weekly Objectives. If you are a Subscriber, you will earn bonus rewards.

The entire Galactic Seasons system is Legacy-wide. This includes the levels you progress through and rewards you earn. The items you earn will be added to your collections, which is a great way to spread them to the other characters in your Legacy.

Both Subscribers and Free-to-play players have access to the Galactic Seasons system in SWTOR. To see your progress, open up the Daily Login Rewards window and navigate to the second tab at the top.

All items that can be unlocked in your Collections cost 80 Cartel Coins each. Please note that decos, dyes, and bubbles cannot be unlocked in Collections.

Rewards Overview and Details

This segment showcases the most interesting items that you can earn if you participate in GS9. Below the Highlights section, you will find a more detailed overview of all available rewards and when you can get them.

Flashpoint Resurgence

Instead of Uprisings like we had in GS8, we’ll be using new V2 Czerka Combat Enhancers inside Flashpoints.

The V2 Czerka Combat Enhancers include all of the abilities you could get in Uprisings along with 2 new ones, Experimental Repulsor Field Lift ▶Throw and Projectile Probes.

Experimental Repulsor Field grants 2 abilities on your Temporary Ability Bar. The first lifts an enemy up just like Whirlwind | Force Lift and the second throws the lifted enemy at another enemy.

Projectile Probes summons 2 probes that shoot lasers at enemies while in combat.

Stronghold Decorations

There are a ton of decos available in GS9, all of which are part of the Subscriber Rewards Track. They’re themed around the rebel base on Yavin IV, and in my opinion, they’re the real stars of the show this season.

While there are a few decos available on the track as usual, most come packaged in 1 of 4 themed Requisition crates at levels 4, 36, 54, and 86 on the subscriber track.

Natural Vines Requisition

You can obtain the Natural Vines Requisition from level 4 on the GS9 subscriber rewards track. It comes with 5 copies of each of the following:

• Wall Vines Style 1
• Wall Vines Style 2
• Ceiling Vines Style 1
• Ceiling Vines Style 2
• Ceiling Vines Style 3
• Ceiling Vines Style 4
• Ceiling Vines Style 5
• Ceiling Vines Style 6

I tried my best to label them, but I did not feel confident enough with the end result to include them.

Technology Requisition

You can obtain the Technology Requisition crate from level 36 on the GS9 subscriber rewards track. It comes with 5 copies of each of the following:

• Wall Pipes
• Wall Wires
• Turbine Generator

Console Requisition

You can obtain the Console Requisition crate from level 54 on the GS9 subscriber rewards track. It comes with 5 copies of each of the following:

• Communications Console
• Tactical Console

Both decos are classified as Technological – Computers and fit on Medium, Narrow, and Large hooks.

Starship Gantry Requisition

You can obtain the Starship Gantry Requisition crate from level 86 on the GS9 subscriber rewards track. It comes with 5 copies of each of the following:

• Starship Gantry
• Republic Starfighter
• Republic Starship Gantry
• Imperial Interceptor
• Imperial Starship Gantry

Each deco is categorized as Technology – Vehicles and fits on Centerpiece and Starship hooks.

Unpackaged Decorations

These decos are individual rewards on the GS9 subscriber rewards track. Each comes in a stack of 5.

Portable Workstation

You can obtain 5 copies of the Portable Workstation from level 14 on the GS9 subscriber rewards track.

Holohub Advisory Table and Chairs

The Holohub Advisory Table is a Furniture – Arrangement deco that fits on Large and Centerpiece hooks. You receive it at level 66 on the GS9 rewards track. It comes blessed with 4 Advisory Chairs placed at alternating positions around the table. Both the table and chairs seems to change color to match the stronghold it’s in, like the Commemorative Statues do.

The Advisory Chair is not part of the GS9 rewards track, so you’ll have to submit to Ki’at Thavo’s highway robbery and purchase singular copies of the Advisory Chair for 2 GS tokens EACH.

That’s right folks, for the same low price as the entire Mek-Sha Stronghold, you can obtain seven Advisory Chairs and nothing else until the next season comes around!

Personnel Decos

You can obtain 5 copies of the Commandant Personnel and Ascendant Admiral Personnel at levels 74 and 59, respectively, on the GS9 subscriber rewards track.

Mounts

Broadsword has bucked the trend and gone with a 3/3 split with 2 speeder mount models this time instead of doing a 4/2 split with speeders and creatures. The Minas Stinger and Verdier Luxline have 110% mount speed at Speeder Piloting Rank 1.

Minas Speeders

There are 3 Minas speeders, 2 of which are available to subscribers at levels 1 and 89, including the Minas Stinger, which as a mount flourish to deploy wings. The third speeder, the Minas Mud Dauber is available from Ki’at Thavo for 3 GS Tokens.

Minas is an existing speeder manufacturer. The vehicles look similar to the Minas Hornet and Scarab, though the GS9 speeders have a pair of Y-Engines and appear fresh off the lot instead of a junkyard. Their overall profile is loosely inspired by the Y-Wing Starfighter.

Verdier Speeders

Verdier is a brand-new speeder manufacturer in SWTOR. Both models look quite similar, though the Luxline features a brighter headlight with shroud alongside a second one next to it. The Luxline also features more detailing.

Similar to the Minas speeders from this season, the Verdier speeders are loosely inspired by the one used by Andor and his rebel friends on the breadbasket world of Mina-Rau in Andor S2.

Armor Sets

There are 2 full armor sets that seem to be a hodgepodge of Rebel hero and Resistance officer uniform motifs. The signature oversized flap/lapel thing is worn by Cassian Andor, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and is even part of a Starkiller outfit. Neither set has a helmet, but there is a variant of each chestpiece and bracers.

Commandant’s Armor Set

You can obtain all the pieces from the Commandant’s Armor Set from the GS9 Subscriber Rewards Track from lvls 10-40, pictured with the Commandant’s Tactical Bracelet.

Ascendant Admiral’s Armor Set

You can obtain all of the pieces from the Ascendant Admiral’s Armor Set on the GS9 Subscriber Reward Track from lvls 65-95, pictured with the Ascendant Admiral’s Transponder.

Chest and Bracer Variations

In lieu of a helmet, both the Commandant and Ascendant Admiral’s armor sets come with a variant of the chestpiece and bracers.

The Commandant’s Tactical Bracelet and Ascendant Admiral’s Wristlet are identical, except the Commandant’s Tactical Bracelet is only worn on the right wrist rather than both.

The Commandant’s Communicator and Ascendant Admiral’s Transponder are completely distinct from each other, with the former having different tech on their right and left wrist, while the latter’s is symmetrical.

Despite its name implying otherwise, the Commandant’s Casual Jacket is not just an unbuttoned version of the Commandant’s Jacket. The shoulder pads and color pull more from the Ascendant Admiral’s Jacket, but there are no rank insignias anywhere.

The Ascendancy Jacket is a combination of the distinguishing features of on each of the 3 other chest pieces.

It has the rolled up sleeves from the Commandant’s Casual Jacket, the shorter shoulder pads and higher rank insignias from the Ascendant Admiral Jacket, and features 2 dyable regions in the closed form as seen on the Commandant’s Jacket.

Dyes

There are 2 different dye color schemes and their inverses available on the GS9 subscriber rewards track. You’ll get a stack of 10 from the track and can purchase additional copies from Ki’at Thavo, the GS Seasonal Rewards vendor on the fleet for 2 GS Tokens each.

Rose Brown, Coral Orange

Pictured with the Ascendant Admiral’s Set is the Rose Brown, Coral Orange Dye Module, available at levels 92 and 99 on the subscriber rewards track.

The default orange color found on select pieces of GS9 armor sets is identical to the Coral Orange dye.

Pale Gray, Ash Blue

Pictured with the Commandant’s (Casual) Armor Set is the Pale Gray, Ash Blue Dye Module, available at levels 64 and 84 on the subscriber rewards track.

Sadly, there aren’t any fancy Enhanced Dyes this season.

Minipets

There are 2 droid minipets available on the Subscriber Reward Track, the CAM-RON Surveillance Probe and F4-RM Agriculture Droid. You can see them driving around in the Galactic Seasons alcove of the supplies section of the Fleet until next season.

Weapons

There are 2 sets of weapons with practically identical models but have distinct colorways. All weapons in both sets use a default yellow color crystal that governs the lights and beam, though no crystal is included in the weapon.

The color difference makes the uniquely named set look like sleek showpieces to hang on the mantle above your Life Day Fireplace, while heavy use has caused the white paint to wear off on the Bryar MW/MF series.

The Bryar weapons are available on the Free Rewards Track from lvls 20-50, while the named set is available on the Subscriber Rewards Track from lvls 50-91.

If you look closely, you can see that the rifles use the blaster pistol as the base and just add some modular extensions like we see Cassian try to use on Ghorman.

The Bryar MW-05 from the GS9 track looks nearly identical to the CP-2 Bryar Pistol available on the Cartel Market, both of which are Inspired by Andor™. It’s the same model Cassian uses throughout the show.

The version you get in GS9 looks almost identical to the one you can buy on the CM, though all the bells and whistles have been stripped away. There’s no holster, no color crystal lights, nor a rotating chamber and cylinder.

The metal has also lost a bit of its luster and looks more worn down, and while it may be a trick of the light, the textures seem to have a lower resolution on the GS9 version as well…

The only positive way to spin this is that it gives more players access to an iconic blaster pistol right now, but there’s no denying that this feels extremely low-budget.

The sabers bear little resemblence to the blasters beyond using the same materials, and the assault cannon is nothing to write home about.

Broadsword should have just offered a CP-2 Bryar Sniper Rifle/Blaster Rifle Configurations on the Cartel Market and done a unique design for the blasters this season instead of Wal-Mart Bryars.

There are a bunch of new titles available. You can buy 3 Character Titles from Ki’at Thavo for 3 GS Tokens each and then get 1 Legacy Title and SH Label in both the free and sub tracks.

Fleet Vendor Contents

Jaleit Nall, the Classic and Non-Seasonal Rewards vendor, offers items that were previously time-limited and available to only Subscribers. Ki’at Thavo, the Seasonal Rewards vendor, has an updated inventory with some of the rewards from the Galactic Season 9 track.

There are several benefits to selling this selection of items from the GS track in exchange for Galactic Seasons Tokens:

• It allows F2P players to obtain some items from the subscriber-only track
• Offers a way for everybody to procure additional copies of the decos for insane prices (you only get 5 from the track)
• Provides a way for players to still get some of the items even after the season has ended
• Offers brand new items for players that don’t have anything else to spend their tokens on

Jaleit Nall Rotating Rewards

Jaleit Nall always sells the Stronghold Deeds and room keys, GS Story Mission unlocks, Planetary Poster: Tython deco, and unique companion gifts for each of the Galactic Seasons companions from the first 4 seasons.
