SWTOR Guides Master List

SWTOR Guides Master List

Vulkk by Vulkk|

A Master List containing the most important and key Guides VULKK.com has produced for Star Wars: The Old Republic, structured in hubs based on content type and player experience.

The collection of guides in the lists below does not contain all of the content we have created for the game. It’s just the highlights to get you started.

You will, of course, find a lot more on the main SWTOR Category Page.

Parts of this page may appear broken and certain elements of it may be missing or be displayed with wrong (white, hard to read) colors if you are using an AdBlocker.

Please consider white-listing VULKK.com. Thank you for your support!

When you are ready, jump to the fun part – the guides below.

Game Updates Coverage

For many years VULKK.com covers in full every single update SWTOR has released, from small hotfixes to large content updates and any patches in between.

In the list below you will see some of the more recent and more significant updates. We don’t want to bore you going too far back. For a full list of Changes dating many years back, you can visit the SWTOR Updates and Patch Notes Archive.

7.7 Essentials

This is a highlighted collection of guides specifically for players, who are relatively up-to-date with the game and need a refresher or want to learn about the newest and most recent systems or changes introduced with the latest SWTOR updates.

These guides are also included in the categories below.

Beginner Guides

This is your starting point. If you are a new SWTOR player or returning veteran to check out what has changed and how the game has evolved over the years, here you will find more than enough information to get your started.

Endgame

SWTOR’s Endgame begins usually when you reach the level cap. It is comprised of solo and group content that is designed to present a higher level of challenge than the story of your class. The guides in the list below are but a highlight of what we have available for you on VULKK.com!

Class Guides and Best Builds

We have covered each class in SWTOR 7.0 and its Disciplines with an individual Guide. Every guide also offers a selection of top builds for various scenarios and gameplay loops.

We also have a dedicated collection of guides for the Best Solo Builds. These are tailored specifically for when you are just by yourself completing daily missions, playing the story, or soloing Heroics. The Solo Builds are potent enough in casual group content as well.

Galactic and PvP Seasons

The game has adopted the seasonal format for rewarding players via two progression systems that work for PvE and PvP players respectively. You can play whatever content you enjoy most and scale through the levels of Galactic Seasons and PvP Seasons to earn various rewards.

In the beginner guides section near the top of this Master List, you will find the general guides to the Galactic Seasons System and the PvP Seasons System. In the lists below, you will see guides for each specific season and the rewards you can earn from it.

To progress through a PvP Season, you have to participate in PvP activities. We have a dedicated segment to PvP Warzones and Arenas further down on this page.

Dynamic Encounters

Dynamic Encounters are short planetary mission that you can stumble upon while you’re out questing. Everyone can see all currently available Dynamic Encounters on all maps, and anyone can complete them, though they’re only available for a set time. As old events expire, new ones become available.

Daily Areas

Daily Areas and Daily Missions in SWTOR bring a unique (mostly) solo experience to the table. Dailies can fill up not just your spare time in the game, but for some players this is the main content to enjoy.

The guides below will show you how to unlock and access each Daily Area in SWTOR, how to complete the Daily and Weekly Missions and what you can earn from them.

Note that some of the Daily Areas in SWTOR are connected to Recurring Events. You can learn more about Events in another segment further down in this guide.

Events

SWTOR supports a number of recurring In-Game Events, some almost as old as the game itself. These events appear from time to time for a limited time, during which you have the opportunity to participate in unique missions, unlock new achievements and earn special prices or interact with dedicated event vendors.

Flashpoints

Flashpoints in SWTOR are four-men group content usually. Many of them have a dedicated Solo or Story Mode where you can experience the Story on your own with the help of an NPC droid.

The guides you see below are showing you how to start the Flashpoint, how to defeat all bosses, including any bonus bosses and bonus missions, what achievements you can unlock and the rewards you can earn.

Uprisings

Uprisings are similar to Flashpoints. They are also four-men group content, but feature less story content and take place in an instanced piece of land from the open world of SWTOR. They are designed to be quick and relatively easy to complete.

Operations

Operations are the true PvE Endgame for SWTOR. They are designed for eight of sixteen players and offer three tiers each with climbing levels of challenges: Story, Veteran and Master Mode.

We are looking for help to expand the collection of modern and up-to-date Guides for older SWTOR Operations. If you have the experience and desire, please reach out to me at info@vulkk.com.

PvP Warzones and Arenas

This is a collection of detailed beginner-friendly guides to the PvP maps and PvP game modes available in SWTOR. Each guide gives you a full overview of a PvP map, explains its secrets and unique environmental perks as well as the rules for the PvP match on this specific map.

Each of the guides contains also a large collection of strategies, and role-specific and general tips to help new players learn how to play each game mode on each map as quickly as possible.

The Alliance System

The Alliance System was introduced to SWTOR with Game Update 4.0. You become The Commander (a title I personally dislike to this day! Though, it’s better than “Outlander”) and a whole new set of missions and characters to recruit and interact with open up before you.

Datacrons

A full list of all planets on SWTOR that have Datacrons hidden on them and available for you to obtain. Each guide covers one planet with detailed step-by-step walkthroughs to collecting the Datacrons available on the planet.

The list follows the same order as the Galactic History Codex Entries you unlock when collecting each one of the Datacrons.

Strongholds

The in-game housing systems in SWTOR is quite popular and if you want to decorate your own home, you can purchase one or several Strongholds and go crazy.

Cartel Market Item Reviews

We have not been doing a lot of Cartel Market Item Reviews over the years, but what we have, has always been presented with extreme details.

Our most recent Cartel Market Item Reviews are focusing on items that you cannot easily preview in-game. Our goal is to show them to you in full size and in the proper environment, so you can make an informed choice if they are worth your money.

As I said in the beginning, this is but a small portion of the entire SWTOR library of Guides and Tutorials we have available. I will continue to expand this catalog in the future with more of the old and new guides.

You can always visit and bookmark the SWTOR Main Category Page or just visit VULKK.com frequently to stay on top of things.

If you want to offer SWTOR Content as a Guest Author or want to collaborate on a project with us, please reach out to me at info@vulkk.com. There are always more things that can be covered for SWTOR.
