Where to find the boss
New Moon Reaper spawns at the Southern Court in Demeniss. As soon as you approach the area, a cutscene will trigger and the boss will jump from the roof.
To be able to spawn this boss, you must first complete Chaoter VIII from the main storyline. The Southern Court will still be hostile. The boss is part of the Lunar Judgement questline.
Tips for the Fight
new Moon Reaper is incredibly agile and aggressive. By the time you reach and face this boss, you will likely not be strong enough to overpower her.
Her stagger meter is relatively short, though. Once you stagger her, you can unleash hell with a two-handed weapon for maximum damage. To deplete the stagger meter, you can use a Fire Elemental heavy attack, a Charged Shot, or fully upgraded triple Force Palm.
This boss uses Nature’s Echo, which is an ability you can learn by observing it. Check our guide to find all Observable Abilities in Crimson Desert.
A successful strategy is a defensive one. You can use any weapon you like, but if you struggle to stay alive, a sword and shield is a great combination, stick some Stamina buffs in the Abyss Slots (Vigor for example).
If you want to be aggressive, Fire Elemental attacks will take her down quickly. And a two-handed weapon will deal a ton of damage to her while she is down or cornered.
