Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Launch Times and Preload Availability

Adrian by Adrian|

With the release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced just a couple of days away, we’ve put together this guide to help you find out when you can start your pre-load for the game or when you’ll be able to start enjoying this tale full of piracy and intrigue.

Pre-Load Times

If you bought the game during its pre-release, you’ll be able to download the game files in advance, which, on most sites, are listed at 61-64 GB, depending on the platform. It’s recommended to have at least 65 GB of free space; doing this will let you get right into the action the moment the game releases.

  • Xbox Series X|S: It is available for Pre-Load at the moment.
  • PlayStation 5: available on July 7 at 12 am local time.
  • PC: 14:00 UTC, check the table below for your region-specific Pre-Load Time.

Global Launch Times

We know how bothersome figuring out the release time for your timezone can be, so here’s a table with release information for a wide variety of regions. We hope this makes the process a little easier.

How to prepare for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

We’re just a few days away from returning to the Caribbean as Edward Kenway. We are more than excited, and rightfully so. Black Flag is one of the best games of the franchise.

But before release day, we want to tell you some simple but important things you must consider in order to be able to play it as soon as possible.

To reduce the chance of crashes or performance issues, make sure to update your GPU drivers one or two days before July 9th.

Black Flag Resynced has new content but remains very loyal to the first game. Meaning that it won’t take you hundreds of hours to finish it. Nonetheless, you might want to make sure to have free time to play it during the first week. Especially if this is your first time going through this story.

If pirates are something you really like, I suggest watching the recent video released by Ubisoft, where they discuss some of the myths of pirates across history and how accurate (or not) they are.

The best thing about it is that the person who explains it is Dr. Rebecca Simon, a historian specialized in early modern piracy and the Atlantic world.

And for PC players, hardware is important, so here is a reminded of the officially released PC System requirements:
