Energy Drain III is an Offensive Abyss Gear available to all players in Crimson Desert. It restores some of your resources every time you defeat an enemy. It’s an upgrade to Energy Drain II.

How to Obtain
- You can use a Witch to synthesize two Energy Drain II into one Energy Drain III.
- You receive it as a reward for completing the Special Equipment challenge Special Weapon: Vessel of Dark Pursuit.

- How to Trigger it: Energy Drain III is a passive bonus. It applies automatically whenever you defeat an enemy with the weapon it is slotted into.
- Cost Considerations: It is not tied to a skill, so it adds no extra Stamina or Spirit cost. It only pays out on kills, so it does little in long fights against a single tough enemy.
- Related Abyss Gears: Life Transference, Stamina Transference and Spirit Transference restore resources on every hit instead of on kills.
- Recommended Use: Best for fighting groups of weaker enemies and for farming, where frequent kills keep your resources topped up. It suits bows and firearms well.
