The Power Core – Crown of Shadows is an Abyss material in Crimson Desert, used to craft the Kuku Ice-Resistant Armor, High-Mobility A.T.A.G. and Kuku Insect Gatherer’s Pack.

A massive power core found within Abyss creatures. Its energy output is so immense that no ordinary means can control it. The core serves as the lifeblood for higher entities that have condensed Abyssal energy, though it carries the risk of going berserk.

How to Obtain

You get it as a random drop from Abyss creatures such as Iron Worms, Stone Worms and Wandershrubs.

Each kill drops a random Power Core. Save before every fight, so you can reload if you don’t get the core you need. If a core falls into the ground, fast travel elsewhere to have it added to your inventory, or ask Carl at your Greymane Camp to retrieve it.

There are multiple locations across Pywel where you can find Abyssal Creatures. Below we will show you a couple of examples in the starting region.

Wandershrubs

Wandershrubs roam the grassy area northwest of the Witchwoods in Hernand. Hit them with Force Palm to knock them down quickly.

Stone Worms

Stone Worms burrow along the cliff edge in the Greenfield Highlands, north of Willow River in southwestern Demeniss. The worms stay hidden until you walk over them, and if none appear, teleport away and come back to respawn them.
