Skyroot is a rare medicinal herb that is classified as a consumable. You can consume it directly, but also use it to craft high-end gear, or in recipes.

A leaf that resembles a palm obtained from a glowing flower. Its defining feature is its light-imbued surface and it is difficult to gather intact due to its fragility. Found only in regions rich with the energy of nature.
How to Obtain
To unlock the ability to collect Skyroot, you must first complete the research for it at the Scholastone Research Institute.
Farm Skyroot by burning brambles
You can farm Skyroot by burning Skyroot brumbles in various locations across Pywel then collecting the roots with a Shovel or the Kuku Gardening Pack. One such location that is easy to find and close to a Teleport, is in northern Pailune, just a bit northwest of Totemfelt.
Reward from Missions
You can send Mission Dispatches to obtain it from the Verheim Ruins Exploration Mission at the Verheim Ruins in the northwest end of Pailune.
Additional Info
To get Skyroot, you need a Shovel. This is one of those rare moments where you could actually use this basic tool. But by the time you actually do need Skyroots, you will likely have access to the Kuku Gardening Pack, which is a far superior method to obtain this root.
Skyroot is used for Abyss Gear crafting. If you want to optimize your stats, you may want to craft some specific Abyss Gears. It is also an ingredient in some of the extravagantly difficult and very special meals you can prepare using a whole bunch of ingredients.
You can extract Skyroot Seeds from Skyroot and plant them in your own garden.
