Surge II is a Non-combat Abyss Gear available to all players in Crimson Desert. It increases your Swim Speed. It’s an upgrade to Surge I.

Item Stats
Grants a variety of effects when embedded in an equipment socket. Witches found in each region have the power to embed or remove Abyss gears.
How to Obtain
- You can use a Witch to synthesize two Surge I into one Surge II.
- You can get it as a reward for completing the Training challenge Through the Current, which is unlocked by a Sealed Abyss Artifact.

- How to Trigger it: Surge II is a passive bonus. It makes you swim faster as long as the equipment it is slotted into is equipped.
- Cost Considerations: It is not tied to a skill, so it adds no extra Stamina or Spirit cost. It does nothing on land and takes up a socket that could hold a combat gear.
- Related Abyss Gears: Haste and Ascent speed up running and climbing, and Vigor helps your Stamina last longer on long swims.
- Recommended Use: Best in a swap set for exploring coasts, rivers and underwater areas, and for swimming challenges. Truthfully, you will likely never use this. But it’s nice to know it exists.
