Location & Unlocking

Oliver’s Dyehouse will be right in the base camp at Howling Hill, close to the Abyss Nexus. You must first complete quests to unlock the Third Upgrade: Solid Foundation, found under Side Quests → Greymanes → Grounds of the Sunrise.

Additional Info

The Base Camp Dyehouse is special because Oliver is the only one that can dye you and your horse’s clothes to be any color or material. All of the Dyehouses throughout Pywel only know how to do a single color and material.

Oliver sells the Shadow Grey Dye, so you don’t have to travel to the Provisioner’s Shop in Senia for it. He also sells Bright and Deep Teal Dye. You can only use teal once you’ve visited the Teal Dyehouse in Pailune, which opens after Chapter VII of the main story.

Oliver sells the Mist-woven, Frost-woven and Double Mist-woven Carpets, along with blueprints for all three. The Greymane Camp has no Loom, so you’ll need to craft the carpets elsewhere, such as at the Hernand Tailor’s Shop.
