- You can extract this Abyss Gear from other gear.
- You can randomly find it in treasure chests, especially in the Abyss.
- You can obtain its blueprint from Mission Dispatch and learn to craft it with the help of a Witch.
- You receive one as a reward for completing the Wild Showdown Hunting challenge.

- How to Trigger it: Beastbane I is a passive bonus damage. It applies automatically to attacks made with the equipment it is slotted into, as long as the target is a beast.
- Cost Considerations: It is not tied to a skill, so it adds no extra Stamina or Spirit cost. On a weapon, the bonus only works while that weapon is your active one; on gloves and footwear, it applies to your unarmed punches and kicks.
- Related Abyss Gears: The other Bane gears work the same way against different enemy types: Abyssbane, Bloodbane, Hexebane, Malicebane, Primalbane, and Steelbane.
- Recommended Use: Best kept on a swap weapon for hunting wildlife and fighting beast bosses, where the bonus applies to every hit. It’s unlikely you would need this, or perhaps for very isolated cases.
