A mace once wielded by Lucian Bastier, grand general of the Kingdom of Demeniss. Its head bears the royal crest, and its sharp spikes are as splendid and cruel as his ambition.
Refinement Levels
How to Obtain
You can find Bastier’s Mace of Ambition resting on the floor inside the room with the spinning door near the top of the Spire of Clockwork behind the hanging “weights”.
It’s on the wooden scaffolding directly across from the rotating door. You can’t get inside until you’ve obtained the Spire of Clockwork Key you get for defeating Bastier at the end of Chapter VIII.
Prior to Update 1.15, it was in a room at the top of the Spire of Clockwork that was inaccessible through normal gameplay. To get inside, you had to clip into the room. It seems that if you got it this way, the Mace of Ambition does not reappear in the new spot.
