A reddish ore with toxic properties. Because it contains mercury, mining and refining it can release poisonous gases, making protective equipment essential. Can be found in remote areas across the Continent of Pywel, but it is primarily concentrated in Pailune and the desert regions.
How to Obtain
Bloodstone is most commonly found in and around the volcano in central Pailune, and there’s an Abyss Cresset in Dragon’s Breath Cave that has a large deposit of Bloodstone.

If you’re a “200 hours in and still haven’t left Hernand”-type player, then Bloodstone is likely the first roadblock you’ll encounter when trying to further upgrade your weapons.
There’s no need to go out of your way to get Bloodstone because it is more common in later regions.
By the time you reach the later regions, you will have the capability to obtain or craft an upgraded tool like a Fine Pickaxe, Bernor’s Pickaxe, or the Mining Knuckledrill.
