How to Obtain
You can purchase the Bright Grey Dye from the Back Alley Shop at the Saltroad Camp on the long road between Urdavah and Varnia in the Crimson Desert. If the camp is occupied by bandits, you have to clear it first.
This vendor does not show up until you complete the nearby Crimson Desert Commission “Principles of the Saltroad Merchants“, which requires you to ride in a slow wagon back to the Great Gate of Urdavah.

Additional Info
This dye is one of 10 grey dyes in total and they aren’t craftable. A single specific vendor sells each one, either a Provisioner’s Shop or a Back Alley Shop. Some of these vendors don’t appear until you’ve completed specific quests.
Once you use the bottle, Oliver at the Base Came Dyehouse will be able to recreate it, so you can visit him for your… coloring projects.
Our Crimson Desert Dyes Guide will tell you everything you could possibly want to know about dying your equipment in Crimson Desert, including how to unlock new colors, crafting dyes, and locating dye vendors.
