Shatter III is an Offensive Abyss Gear available to all players in Crimson Desert. It increases your Critical Rate against enemies wearing plate armor. It’s an upgrade to Shatter II.

- How to Trigger it: Shatter III is a passive bonus. It raises your chance to land critical hits against enemies in plate armor as long as the equipment it is slotted into is equipped.
- Cost Considerations: It is not tied to a skill, so it adds no extra Stamina or Spirit cost. It does nothing against enemies in other armor types.
- Related Abyss Gears: Rend and Shred do the same against leather and cloth armor, and Insight raises your Critical Rate against every enemy.
- Recommended Use: Best for fortresses and battles against heavily armored soldiers and knights. Swap it out when you face lightly armored enemies.
