- How to Trigger it: Shred III is a passive bonus. It raises your chance to land critical hits against enemies in cloth armor as long as the equipment it is slotted into is equipped.
- Cost Considerations: It is not tied to a skill, so it adds no extra Stamina or Spirit cost. It does nothing against enemies in other armor types.
- Related Abyss Gears: Shatter and Rend do the same against plate and leather armor, and Insight raises your Critical Rate against every enemy.
- Recommended Use: Best against lightly clothed enemies such as cultists, mages and civilians-turned-bandits. Swap it out when you face armored soldiers.
