- How to Trigger it: Earthrending Strike triggers when you successfully parry an attack while the equipment it is slotted into is equipped. The shockwave travels forward from you in a line.
- Cost Considerations: Like other skill-modifying gears, it raises the resource cost of the move every time it triggers. It does nothing if your guard is mistimed, so its value depends on how reliably you parry.
- Related Abyss Gears: Howling of Chaos also triggers from a successful parry.
