Red River Ancient Ruins Puzzle requires you to manipulate three statues to complete it and grab the Abyss Artifact reward.
Where to find the Red River Ancient Ruins
The Ruins are located on the northern banks of the Red River in northeastern Delesyia. The location is southeast of Arehaza Cave and north of Red River Cliff Watchtower.
This puzzle is very similar to Five-Finger Mountain Valley Ruins puzzle in Pailune.
Puzzle Composition
On one side of the canyon, you see a rotating mechanism with three cables connected to three stone panels on the other side.
Right next to the rotating mechanism, you can pick up arrows and a bow, conveniently placed there in case you don’t carry some along with the rest of your gear.
How to solve the puzzle
If you are quick, you can solve this in less than a minute. But there is no timer to pressure you.
1. Rotate the Mechanism to reveal the Panels
Stand next to one of the metal handles of the rotating mechanism and push it clockwise. This will briefly pull the stone panels down, revealing three rotating statues behind them. The panels will slowly move back up.
You can rotate the mechanism by shooting arrows at its handles. If you prefer to rotate it manually, just walk toward the handle and your character will start pushing.
2. Rotate the Statues to their Correct Position
Shoot the edges of the statues with your arrow to make them rotate. The statues each have three sides and you have to keep rotating them until the correct side is facing exactly to the front.
You will know which is correct when the side lights up in blue. If you overshoot, it may turn blue and back to yellow. You need to position it to stay firmly glowing in blue. The correct order is, from left to rithg: Axe, Sword, Shield.
If you need extra time, just rotate the mechanism again to bring back down the stone panels and continue to shoot the statues.
Reward
When all three statues are glowing in blue, a short cinematic will play and an Abyss Cresset will be revealed behind the golden statue. Jump across to the other side and pick up your Abyss Artifact.
